Cable starting to look like short again, what do u think Hilary?

Stoped out at -30 on other.. Oh well win some lose some..

I personally don't think that Cable is now a short and the move above 19228 should have triggered the short stops. If anything, it will possibly be a long once it's retraced to provide a better entry. Bear in mind though that it's been a week with lots of price action, including a hefty retracement yesterday, and there are jobs figures at lunchtime. I suspect that you'll see a fair bit of position squaring which could dent moves both ways this morning.

edit: That's not to say that your short won't work ...... it's just not my style.

shorted cable yesterday and got a nice move out of it......
agree that cable looks soft agin this morning and seeing that all hints are that nfp will be good ...looking to place shorts agin and feel if figs are good we could see an immedaite big fig spike down and maybe sub 90 ..
any views

If non farm is good it will drop 150pips almost imediatley with another 150pips over the 4-5 hours after the result.. Just my expirance of scaliping non-farms over the past year.. Imo I would wait till closer to Non farm as the price usually whips in the wrong direction before the move which would stop you out. Just my thoughts..

Im done for the day will scalp non farm later as usual but im +90.5 for the week. Thanks for all your advice and help this week Hil feel like im getting somewhere. My feeling for this weeks trading is 10/10 which is a good feeling.. If I can scalp 200 of non farm I will be over the moon..

Every bit of good news out of the US has been hammered by the Dollar bears just lately. They instead draw attention to the twin deficits and the fact that the cable carry trade is still attractive. Oil has been the primary driver behind the retracement over the last couple of days, but the Dollar downtrend is still very much intact.

I am watching closely for pre nfp cable moves. its like the calm before the storm at the mom

It may be worth watching treasuries pre and post payrolls, they mostly precede dollar changes although I have seen it go the other way.
Now which cross likely to move the most? Euro some horizontal resistance around 1.33
