here is full copy from website
NICE has nearly completed its very structured due process of the above review. The last phase of the process provides an opportunity for appeal against the final drafting of the report and recommendations. We understand that an appeal has been made but we do not know by whom and on what grounds, NICE will not release any further details until the appeal is heard. A date has not been set for the hearing at this time.

We do not expect that the current draft will change in respect of Beating the Blues. The appeal process will extend the final date for Completion of the process and subsequent recommendation by up to 2 months. Whilst this is frustrating for all of us there is nothing we can do that will change this. The company and NICE has been inundated with calls and emails regarding this matter which is taking up valuable resource. Ultrasis will communicate, any further updates regarding the NICE timescales, via our website.

A 5 star buy confirmed on British Bulls yesterday for ULT.

stringy - 25 Sep 2005 01:31 - 224 of 1525

Nice to have that confirmed by BritishBullshit but in any case we seem to have established strong support at 2p. Positive news from here should move the sp north nicely and I don't think we'll have to wait long for that.

PRESS RELEASE (NICE website, 28/09/05)
Latest NICE guidance sets new standards for
treating depression in children and young people

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the National
Collaborating Centre for Mental Health have today (28th September) launched a clinical
guideline on the treatment and management of depression in children and young people.
The guideline recommends that
o Children and young people with moderate to severe depression should be offered, as
a first-line treatment, a specific psychological therapy (such as cognitive behavioural
therapy, interpersonal therapy or family therapy of at least 3 months duration).
o Antidepressant medication should not be offered to children or young people with
moderate to severe depression except in combination with a concurrent psychological
therapy and should not be offered at all to children with mild depression.....

...Dr Tim Kendall, Joint Director of the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health
who developed the guideline on behalf of NICE says This is the sixth mental health
guideline where we have recommended psychological treatments as key treatments for a
mental health condition and the third where we have recommended them as the first line
treatment. The evidence supporting these treatments is robust and it is vital that the NHS
provides psychological therapies to ensure everyone who needs these treatments can
access them rapidly.

Considering the vast majority of young people have access to a computer surely it is just a matter of time before somebody makes the obvious link to the computer based products offered by ULT; this can only strengthen their case.
