Looking at the buy and sells on Barclays the price is all over the place,if you're an optomist they were buys and of course a pessimist would say sells! I'm in and i'm optomistic. Good luck to all holders. cheers.

When I posted earlier....Strange day at the moment. Very big spread (just closed a bit as I post). With the reasonable increase in the sp on low volume, looks like another day of big trades having been done but not being released until just prior to close..... I had no idea that I would come back in at 1900hrs to find volumes such as they are. With sells at a massive over to buys, and the sp hardly moving, who is going to bet against late buys showing early on Monday.
For the sp to be where it is, surely massive volume will show within the first couple of hours on market opening. The MM's must have huge orders to fill.

My guess is that the MM are as much in the dark as the majority of punters on this board and covering their rear ends.

Just flexing my naivity muscles here.
10 days from now is November 6th. Could the big sells be one of the 12 million investors short selling the stock as he knows he has bought it in 10 days time for 20% less than he can sell it for today. if the finance doesn't get the vote, he could buy it back for nowt cos the company would be bankrupt. No lose situation for him. At worst 20% profit at best 100% profit.
If not one of the 12 million, it could just as easily be any other large holder performing his own bit of hedging. The 10 days thing semms a little co-incidental.

Trading terms, alfalfa. Anything traded yesterday on T+10 must be settled on November 6th.

That's where my query lay, Alan.
Any T+t trade must be settled t working days after the trade date.
Thus, any trade made yesterday on T+10 must be settled by Friday 10th November.
Hope this helps.
Alfa.

Fred1new,
I agree the MM's are probably in the dark as much as we are with whats happening, but I still think they have big orders to fill, or have now filled them.

13% of SEO's current issued stock in two transactions should be RNS'd pretty soon.
I'd guess it likely to be AoR raising the cash to take up the offer....needs to find ~1.04m, plus could aslo be raising a little extra to mop up a few more and have some pocket money left over!

Sorry to harp on, Alan - it would be a T+6, which is not a common settlement term !
