Tadpole Evolves (TAD)

ainsoph - 23 May 2003 13:32

A new thread that may swim in hibernation for a few days or weeks as the process of evolution takes place ......

Imagine a slimmed down debt free company with one division stacked with orders and self financing with cash in the bank.

Then imagine a partner for the other division with pockets so deep that they could fund a rocket to the moon ..... and back

Dreaming of course but Tads can do that to you ..... what a gem or is that a bygone dream as well .....

We started the day at 4.75p mid - risk grade 583 - currently 6p - spamming posts 63 out of 140

Densil - 28 May 2003 13:39 - 219 of 729

Could be Dick, but it all makes some sort of sense. That is, those who I aint got squelched do. I wouldn't know about the others.

Sequestor - 28 May 2003 13:40 - 220 of 729

dick,
do try to talk a little sense occasionally, it would be refreshing.

Densil - 28 May 2003 13:41 - 221 of 729

Buying pressure is quite strong. I don't think eight is going to hold somehow.

Sequestor - 28 May 2003 13:45 - 222 of 729

Me neither 8 is much too ambitious , 7p is the next move, and then down some,

`plus ca change , plus la meme chose` eh

amazing how one can agree with like minds.

Sequestor - 28 May 2003 14:13 - 223 of 729

Amazing how Densil and I saw the drop coming there goes the "real" bid down soon to be followed by the demise of 8 offer- as Dense said "I don`t think the 8 is going to hold somehow",
its like telepathy really.

Densil - 28 May 2003 14:28 - 224 of 729

They're sitting there soaking up the pressure. Either there's a big Gem in the wings or they're hoping the pressure is dropping cos the trades are small. A good big buy now would put the cat amongst the pigeons.

superrod - 28 May 2003 19:48 - 225 of 729

get real guys

tad trades a few k a day or a few million. the last few days have seen buying a plenty. i dont presume to know why but 4 or 5 hundred buyers against the two or three antis here and a few more on advfn.whos right whos wrong WORK IT OUT

alternatively ASK THE AUDIENCE ( i admit not infallible )

ps only posting cos it looks like mam needs the traffic :o((

Moneylender - 28 May 2003 21:39 - 226 of 729

Is this woman going to do in the States what ESRI has done in the UK and europe.
She has all the crudentials and experience.

This could well be the cash cow, while we wait for ETI to
produce the "hypergrowth" that we all dream of.

A company is judged by the company it keeps.

Tadpole-Cartesia Appoints Susan Park Executive Sales Manager For North American Operations
Field geospatial software leader strengthens its customer-centric business initiatives

Carlsbad (Calif.), April 23, 2003: Tadpole-Cartesia, Inc., the field mapping software leader, today announces the appointment of Susan Park as executive sales manager for North American operations. Reporting to operations director Jason Linley, Park now leads the firm's business drive into the utilities, transport, local and state government, homeland security, and other GIS-centric markets.

Park is a respected practitioner in delivering customer value. She joins Tadpole-Cartesia after 4-years with GE Network Solutions (formerly GE Smallworld) where she progressed from account manager for the Denver area to sales director, Western Region and Canada.

Prior to moving into sales with GE, Park applied her design and project management skills with Plangraphics, Inc., and was prime support for the company's utility customers to develop and deploy complex GIS softwareapplications. Earlier career highlights included project management positions with Helix Water District and Niagara Mohawk. Park holds a BS in Geography from Texas A&M.

Jason Linley, Tadpole-Cartesia's director for North American operations, comments: "Susan brings a cross-industry skillset to Tadpole-Cartesia and a proven track record in selling geospatial systems. In today's geo-centric climate, every second counts and extending spatial data to the edge of a network via Tadpole's unique field technologies is helping enterprises to improve the productivity of their mobile work teams, and ultimately deliver better service to utility customers."

A good day for tad - needs some very good news to push it further. Tomorrow is Thursday, Densil reckons we should see an announcement. Feels like a certain "sell on news" scenario. But you never know.

Moneylender,

they've just employed some sales bod, that's all - calling her a "cash cow" hardly helps the TAD cause!

Sequestor - 29 May 2003 09:19 - 229 of 729

Where`s this ten p then Gang?
I told you to take profits yesterday, I did, and very nice they look too.
Down again today and back to 4p soon, you know the more you idiots insult we who trade them, the more the trades go in our favour, see you again at 4/5p and then i`ll have a few,

ROTFLMAO@ the Dead Cat.

Densil - 29 May 2003 11:03 - 230 of 729

I thought the sales lady news was very old. I'm sure its a good four months.
Doesn't look like much sign of an ANN today though. Being shat all over by the MM's instead.

dickdasterdly10000 - 29 May 2003 11:05 - 231 of 729

I think it is the mms who are worried hence the spread and them all on the same bid and offer....including the house

If TAD gave EVO another 7m to get rid of I would have thought the price would have dropped, maybe they will but at the mo it looks like EVO are fresh out imho

that in itself is a good sign, but we will see

Fugitive - 29 May 2003 11:14 - 232 of 729

Densil,

just looked a little closer - the saleswoman "news" is already a month old! Oh well!

No news today either.

Wait and see time. No news will see this drift down.

F

yuff - 29 May 2003 11:20 - 233 of 729

Would have to agree DD10000, if evo had a few million more gem shares to get rid of they would not be bothered about staying on the bid.
Yuff

dickdasterdly10000 - 29 May 2003 11:24 - 234 of 729

hi yuff

problem is, if there is no more GEM what does that suggest about the company's funding requirements?

if there is more GEM then the price will fall

I guess we will find out from EVOs behaviour over the next few days what the course is although as the house broker one would hope that they have a bit more knowledge as to how many TAD want to issue via GEM than to do things on a day to day basis and would already be aware if there was more to come

imho, dyor

dickdasterdly10000 - 29 May 2003 12:05 - 235 of 729

EVO do it again - looks like they have some more

Sequestor - 29 May 2003 12:16 - 236 of 729

Hahahaha
all wrong again GEM strikes a chord, its got another month to go
and DOWN she goes- see you at 4p bid -cannon fodder for the mm`s

ROTFLMAO

rjs - 29 May 2003 13:11 - 237 of 729

Can I ask why you find it so funny?

Now that the BB has been "cleaned up" I wonder why anybody would feel the need to carry on like that...just curious!!

xfg68 - 29 May 2003 13:12 - 238 of 729

I was about to post that same comment rjs
