Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

in that case fred, your rattlings have about as much value as an old halfpenny ...... windbags like you are happy enough to stand on a soapbox and issue forth clouds of hot air about all that is bad with gov't or the world ..... however, if you don't vote, you fully deserve the worst of worst results, except unfortunately, your torpor affects the rest
at least (i am sure) MrT goes to the ballot box

Tanker,
I did say welcome back.

Blame the Blacks, blame the Asians, blame the Jews, Welsh, Irish, those of the next village.
Scapegoat whichever minorities you dislike at the moment for past and present misgovernment and your own incompetence.
Bring the vigilantes back on the street. Get rid of Human rights. I, we are bigger and stronger than those who need those protections. (At the moment.)
Let the weak and unhealthy die on the streets. Let their bodies lie in the gutters.
Pity about the rotting flesh will be the petri dish for the fermenting of the disease which will continue to spread through society.
Pick on others, and others, and others. Kill them all, none are like us.

at least MrT is consistent with all his crap - and votes for the party he thinks offers the least worst option, whereas you stand on your soapbox amid clouds of steam and hot air, and then lie supine at home when it comes to going to the ballot box ...... that is exactly how and why the likes of BNP (i shan't say UKIP) gain power

Manuel.
I can see why some sad little individuals like yourself, append themselves to parties, with broken promises, failed economic policies, and persistent reflex U-turns, living in hope of being led to the promised land of false dreams .
Unable to stand back and observe, evaluate and consider, what is happening and more importantly why it has happened. Only able to mutter the same outdated mantras of their deluded false gods, continuing on the path which is leading them like lemmings over the cliff.
Good luck, you may need.

Tanker,
Your observation "so am i a racist for wanting my country back .", seems to me, to reflect a true opinion of yourself fairly accurately.
Perhaps it is reasonable to remember that you also belong to a racial minority.

I agree with your point, anyone who doesn't like British style of life should leave the UK and go wherever they like the most. WHY ARE THEY STAYING HERE?
No offense, but they will be happy, Britons will be happier too.

There should be a pan-UK strategy to combat problem drinking - including a 50p minimum price for a unit of alcohol, experts say.
The call by a coalition of 70 health groups and campaigners comes as different approaches are being pursued in the UK.
Their report also called for a ban on advertising and tough rules on sales.
Industry said measures should target people who needed help, not everyone who enjoyed a drink.
Devolution has meant different strategies have been developing to tackle rising rates of problem drinking.
In Scotland a 50p price is set to be introduced, while a 45p threshold has been proposed for England and Wales.
Northern Ireland is yet to put forward a specific proposal, although it is reviewing pricing.

MrT - my comment related to your post 21940 ..... with regards to your other stuff, most of that is populist nonsense or even outright rubbish ..... but if you want to swallow it all and then vote accordingly, that is up to you ..... certainly far better that Supine Fred's attitude of "spout plenty; do nowt"

The Trades Union and Socialist Coalition party got 62 votes. That was worse than the Elvis loves pets party at 72. it looks like Trades Unions and Socialists are not too popular these days.
The beer, baccy and crumpet party got 235 votes.

Cameron's response to the "local" election reminds me of this:
'Forward, the tory brigade!'
Was there a MP dismay'd ?
Not tho' the voter knew
Cameron had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do & cry,
Into the valley of Death
Rode the tory three hundred.
Death to the right of them.
Death to the left of them.
Forward they cried.
Edit and death they left behind them!
