ALCHEMY AKA CLEM CHAMBERS..infiltrators about

Haystack - 31 Oct 2006 17:27 - 21993 of 27111

The nominal vale has nothing to with the actual price or traded price. They are just known as shares of a nominal value of 0.1p. Hence the use of the word 'nominal' - name. If you set up a company of your own for instance you may issue 100 shares of 1p each or 1. It makes little difference for a small company. The nominal value is usually the denominations that were issued when the company was set up. It has no bearing on traded values.

There is a rule I believe that new shares issues cannot be sold at a price less than the nominal value (not a problem in this case as 1p is more than 0.1p). The share issue will mention the nominal value of the shares as that is part of their name. They are issued at whatever price is agreed though as a market price.

Thanks barry, will mail you no.
Whose Clem Chambers?

Tonyrelaxes - 31 Oct 2006 17:31 - 21995 of 27111

Alchemy
Based on the last fundraising EGM (OH, how much younger and hopeful we all were then!) they issued an RNS during the meeting (an hour earlier than this one) repeating a Statement that was presented to us in written form on arrival.
A further RNS was issued in the afternoon confirming the passing of motions.

If you want a phone call or SMS the moment the meeting ends let me know on tonyrelaxes@hotmail.com

Alchemy - ignore him. The village idiot. Harmless none the less.

ALCHEMY - 31 Oct 2006 17:55 - 21997 of 27111

Thanks Tony, probably best an sms, as am at work-in meetings etc. (work is terrible for getting in way of fun on the stock market!) what time does EGM commence?

stockdog - 31 Oct 2006 18:16 - 21998 of 27111

If, as I now believe, AoR sold at 1p, then perhaps they are not taking up their full entitlement. I somehow doubt that this particular trust has any spare fudsn and was probably set up to hold HW's entire interest in SEO for benefit of others. He obviously does not need them himself, because I think I am right in saying that he does not take a salary.

Mad Pad - 01 Nov 2006 00:25 - 22001 of 27111

Congratulations Tony.I've just arrived in Cork 2.5 degrees and no woman to warm my bed!Back tomorrow see you all(what only 3 so far)at the EGM.

Tonyrelaxes - 01 Nov 2006 11:39 - 22002 of 27111

Just had a phone call from a firm appointed by SEO asking if I was still a holder, had I received the Prospectus etc, had I been through it, had I understood it. I said it had all been dealt with and she then said "You are under no obligation to say but can you say how you voted on the resolutions".
To which I said I will be voting at the EGM depending on what I hear.

What to make of this?

ths - 01 Nov 2006 11:54 - 22003 of 27111

Sounds like they don't have the vote worked out yet. (?)
Does that mean they are scared of predators ?

Oilywag - 01 Nov 2006 11:57 - 22004 of 27111

Tonyrelaxes

What is the name of the firm and was their telephone number withheld? I would check if SEO has appointed a company to do this and then ask what they (SEO) wer hoping to gain from this exercise?

Perhaps this is a supplementary question to raise after the EGM.

I am preparing a list of questions to ask at the EGM and will let those attending have a copy by tomorrow afternoon.

automatic - 01 Nov 2006 16:07 - 22005 of 27111

I would like to go to the EGM but, if i think i am being given a load of c--p as we have been in the past (contracts just round the corner) i am liable to lose my cool, i am not a good person to have at meetings

bosley - 01 Nov 2006 16:08 - 22006 of 27111

exactly the kind of person who should be there.

Worrier - 01 Nov 2006 16:42 - 22007 of 27111

Oily, be sure to let them know there are a lot of worried PI's out there

hewittalan6 - 01 Nov 2006 17:02 - 22009 of 27111

What about "man with hole in pocket feel cocky all day"
or " man with willy in biscuit barrel f___ing crackers".

ths - 01 Nov 2006 17:58 - 22010 of 27111

"Woman who go to man's house for lunch may only get tit bit" or
"Man who farts in church sits in own peew"
