Durable goods at 13.30 and existing home sales at 15.00 data from US.
So what are we expecting after the recent two days of sell offs? I think it is safer to short the rallies and it takes a long time to go up and pretty fast down.

Seems a very thought out system and well articulated by the writer.
He seems to know his stuff. I like the different risk levels which would enable users to get their head round the easy(ier) bit before progressing.
Might give it a try in the not too distant future. Got a lot on at the moment.

Harlosh, I think zarif hangs out somewhere else now.
No idea where.

If you apply the Dow system method of calculating the triggers to the Dax then today you would have had a sell trigger of 3896 and the low was 3859. The buy trigger wasn't hit.
I like this idea because you benefit from volatility and don't trade when volatility is low.

Just for fun let's see what tomorrow holds for the Dax.

Was long trying to catch the falling knife. There was a bit of divergence between the fall of UKX and DAX

You were lucky to get out with zero then.

None of the triggers on the Dax heve been hit yet.

Just shorted UKX, looking for 4000 by end of the week. (not being greedy)

morning campers - so whats in store for us today? oil at highs.data out today at 3.30 crude oil stocks.
so are we going to shoot up or zoom down. I feel a pop and drop.
also thursday the bush-kerry debate.
my strategy is still sell these rallies.

The Dax buy trigger today is 3896 which would have got some good points.
The sell trigger is 3868.

i THINK WE WILL SEE ever increasing nervousness this week awaiting earnings so I see a small retracement today

Pity, I must have missed you at the mam do on Friday zarif. Did you stay for the dinner? Considering more seriously concentrating on the Dow after the meeting - I used to live in the States and focus more on it then but in the last five years have followed the FTSE.

Hi JJ50 -Yes I stayed at dinner and on my way back I figured it out in my brain that we had a lift with you to the emporium.(or have i got it wrong as usual)?
What are your views on the dow for the moment? Mine are that it is going to be case of pop and drop and black gold (crude) is on the rise again.Its a difficult call for sure.best to scalp rather than bth.

Agree about scalping, it is my middle name at the moment! Difficult to judge the election effect but I don't see a lot of upside on the horizon and I am sitting on more cash than usual!
