I have to admit that I have been in and out of SEO more times than a cat stuck in a revolving door! "longer term" to me is something like a week! However I do like these shares and have been in and out since 8p meself - not always trading at quite the right! - but it has been my most fun share this year! Hurrah! Court cases can go so wrong and have very little to do with justice at all it seems - so if it is SEO's day then I will not be shedding any little tears...

Yes that is a mkt cap of 132M on a loss of nearly 3M and a turnover of just over a million quid!

That's the historic figures you've got there to 31/10/04 when they made a loss.

Forecast to 31/10/05 is sales of 5.03m, proft of 0.45m and PE of 130 - scary but positive. This reduces to PE of 47 for the following year with a PEG of 0.26 - i.e. it's anticipated growth in EPS is keeping up with the highly rated PE very well.

What's your problem?

It's the extraordinarily positive optimistic market indicator of how good they all think this company is and will become - the market is all about future anticipated results. And it does not matter to you what I think.

It does matter to you what YOU think. What I think you think tells me you should not buy into this share or you should immediately sell what you own now so you can stop worrying about it.

we need some fresh news to enliven the market in general and SEO in particular - not long to go before 60 days are up - roll on 8th April also the day of the open day.

i agree sd. not much sunshine here this morning , miss dynamite, so we are off to york for the day . first to the outlet village then probably for a nice bit of grub at ask (if its still there). considering everything, i feel really calm. i would be quite happy if it went all the way to april 8th. the "buy on rumour sell on news" brigade will keep pushing the price up. i would like an rns on fridays events though, something official. nothing has been released by bprg or seo. thats curious because both have been quick before.

I know a lot of this is already known to us, but the growth rates of ready-made meals on bith sides of the pond are interesting:

"Another company aiming to improve ready meal container performance, while simultaneously reducing brand owner/manufacturer costs and simplifying the recycling of used plastic food trays, is Southampton-based radio frequency (RF) technology specialist Stanelco.

Following successful ongoing trials of its new RF sealing system with Grampian Country Foods [with stuffing balls in tin trays and barbecued pork in plastic ones] and Oscar Mayer [ready meals], Stanelco is optimistic full-scale commercial packhouse trials with an Asda seafood supplier will see the supermarket introduce the process more widely across its supplier base.

The tray lidding system, possibly a world first, eliminates the need for additional PE or other heatsealing layers on CPET and APET preformed and thermoform/fill and seal packs, potentially reducing users' material costs by up to 20%. It also reportedly enables faster sealing than traditional heatsealing on foil trays, and eliminates 'leakers'.

"Our RF technology is ideally suited to high integrity sealing of microwaveable CPET, APET and foil food trays," says Stanelco technical director Mike Feast. "Food manufacturers wanting to use monomaterial, easily recyclable plastic packs can now do so."

The system will seal even through areas contaminated by juices, gravies or sauces. Stanelco has pioneered the technology using Proseal heatsealers, but can retrofit the required RF sealing head and other components to many different manufacturers' machines or tailor-make equipment.

While the ready meal market is still growing [figures from Rexam's recent "Busy Lives" research show it grew by 6% across Europe and 4% in the US in retail volume terms between 2002 and 2003], and provides ample opportunity for innovation, impulse buying and today's on-the-go eating and drinking culture have spawned some ingenious packaging developments too.

Nearly half [44%] those surveyed in the UK "rarely or never plan ahead" for "refuelling on the move", instead "grabbing a drink and a bite when they can", while 71% said they would try their favourite brand in a new package "at least once". "

PP - not sure where you are getting your info from, but on both Comdirect and Digital Look, consensus forecast is given as a PE of 130 ish 2005 and 47 ish 2006. Just didn't anyone Jumpin out of their knickers in fright, know what I mean!

Been away for the weekend folks, great phonecall I got shortly after lunch on Friday. Like Bos' thought one more buying op on negative cc news (even though accounted for by SEO) BUT to have it turn positive!!! Now I have to pay >18p for my top-up but so what, nothing to hold it back now!!
Mickeyskint, I think 50p by end of this year and >100p in 12-18months, who knows after that. Jumpin, Or jumpout, whatever!!! It is difficult to forecast a company turning around with such massive potential. My own maths has been on here so many times but 100p is quite realistic based on potential EPS 10p and modest PE x10. I guess once the Asda deal is announced and you can put meat on the bones it will become clearer, hope you've jumped in before then though.
Asda want the deal and it will be good for SEO.

Also, although RF Sealing of meat packs is going to deliver the main earnings, we now potentially do have Ingel to add to Aquasol, Frogpack and bio-degradable.
It just gets better and better and we havn't even had the Asda RNS yet!!
