Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Jon, I was just deleting it in Explorer.

I'll play about some more with it over the weekend but don't waste too much time on it yourself since it's not really a problem for me.

Try this
In excel go to File/Web page preview.
This should open it in IE.
The go to View/Source.
This should open a notepad window showing the HTML code.
Then go to edit/ select all in notepad.
The go to Edit copy in notepad.
The go to the thread you want to paste it into and right click in the post article box and hit paste and see what happens.

Kayak,

just deleting it in explorer wont flush the cookie from the browser memory while 'delete cookies' does.

Am still having problems within streaming data, Terminal or Stcokwatch.

It'll only work when I disable Norton Internet Security. I guess I need to generate 'rules' to allow the stream - but it asks for programs. Any ideas chaps.

Cheers.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Jun 2004 12:22 - 2217 of 7315

Iain,

It should not prompt you to login unless the session has been unused for 8 hrs - can you tell me if you have session cookies enabled on your PC?

Ian

prodman - 17 Jun 2004 12:36 - 2218 of 7315

Iain - Do you use ZoneAlarm, if so you will have to amend Privacy control (cookies) under site list.

This happened to me, all ok now though.

Iain - 17 Jun 2004 13:03 - 2219 of 7315

Where do i check Ian.This started happening last week
Dont use Zone Alarm.Use Norton

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Jun 2004 13:06 - 2220 of 7315

Iain,

Go to toopls at the top of internet explorer and then click on internet options, then select privacy and then click on advanced - you should be able to change the settings in here and you should have session cookies enabled.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Ian
