I'm glad you said that Opto or I might have been concerned that Socs had
just whalloped me and I was just squaring up with the boxing gloves
;>)

Socrates - 06 Jan 2005 17:08 - 22051 of 23498

Thanks Opto but it wasn't a pint of wallop I wanted. The wallop was me walking into the door as everyone abandoned the cafe. I'm happy to see there are a few remaining inmates.

Good evening Bunny.

stockbunny - 06 Jan 2005 17:10 - 22052 of 23498

Truth be told they only let me out for good behaviour Socs
and that's only occasionally ;>)

optomistic - 06 Jan 2005 17:12 - 22053 of 23498

You see you always pop in at tea time Socs it's nothing personal. Today has been quiet most of the time, perhaps people waiting for the new premises to open :-)
What would you LIKE to drink?

Socrates - 06 Jan 2005 17:12 - 22054 of 23498

Bunny
Is that because you only occasionally have good behaviour, you sound like my kind of woman!

Socrates - 06 Jan 2005 17:15 - 22055 of 23498

Opto
Oddly enough since it's tea-time, I'll have some tea. Would a real Englishman drink anything else at tea-time? I might stretch to a cucumber sandwich too.

chocolat - 06 Jan 2005 17:19 - 22056 of 23498

I'm sure you stretch further than that, Socks.

stockbunny - 06 Jan 2005 17:20 - 22057 of 23498

Don't think that's it Socs...although Poochy did have to warn me about
me bright yellow fur dye once - said is made him feel queezy as it
was like have an oversized canary hopping about the place.....then of
course there was the bright red fur dye - that made poor JeffMack feel
ill as it was like a giant ripe chile bouncing about all day...then there
was the day I put poochy bum first into an ice bucket as he was getting
too frisky....and then there's been several occasions when I've
been warned about the soda syphon not being a weapon of mass
destruction.......

Fundamentalist - 06 Jan 2005 17:22 - 22058 of 23498

Afternoon all

another days hard graft at the house - i have had to take up the parquet flooring block by block (all 3 or 4 thousand of them) to get the floors relaid. Then im going to put them all down again - storing them is like playing jenga over and over and over again - mind numbing!!!!

Hils - love the DWY chart in the traders room - i expect we will be seeing plenty of edited charts in the near future - no attacking SEY with one for the time being :-)

stockbunny - 06 Jan 2005 17:22 - 22059 of 23498

So...all in all I think the once a month pass for good behaviour
really is a bit mean really...well I think so........
;>)

optomistic - 06 Jan 2005 17:32 - 22060 of 23498

Bunny just read your post 22056 ROFLMAO there now I'm really with the techie speak :-)))

stockbunny - 06 Jan 2005 17:35 - 22061 of 23498

Well don't laugh too hard - you still want something to
sit on...
LOL
;>)

hilary - 06 Jan 2005 17:37 - 22062 of 23498

Don't tempt me, Fundy.

:o)

I actually got slapped wrists over that DWY chart. The Powers That Be were not amused that I hijacked the thread header with it.

stockbunny - 06 Jan 2005 17:42 - 22063 of 23498

Afternoon Hils and Fundy
I'm on my way shortly, but will return tomorrow, have a great evening
everyone!! :>)

Fundamentalist - 06 Jan 2005 17:53 - 22064 of 23498

Hils

Some people spoil all the fun :-)

i had the horrible feeling you may interpret my comment as a challenge

hi bunny :-)

Socrates - 06 Jan 2005 17:58 - 22065 of 23498

Whoopee!

Just checked my premium bonds and I have 100 winner this month. I would of course like a win with a few more noughts, but I am grateful for any wins at all.

amberjane - 06 Jan 2005 18:18 - 22066 of 23498

Well done Socs, I had 10k in bonds for last 6 months and only ever got 50
quid...guess where it all is now? and happily losing 50 quid a month now!!!!!

Couldnt risk the gateaux earlier Opto and i was right, lunch was lovely and filled me up but i do have a little room now..................

jeffmack - 06 Jan 2005 18:40 - 22067 of 23498

optomistic - 06 Jan 2005 18:41 - 22068 of 23498

optomistic - 06 Jan 2005 18:42 - 22069 of 23498
