Can't help but think the same alan!
I just hope I am wrong.
The only positive is the buying from the institutions - nothing else.
I must admit I will be pleased to get out of this one with hopefully some profit for all the distress it has given.
We will know by the end of today how things are going to be - if not then that will be a bad sign.

The first box of rotten tomatoes should have been thrown by now. Whatever happens, it will hopefully put an end to speculation and bring about accumulation. I had hoped to get down to London but commitments have dictated otherwise, anyway my wife made soup with my box of tomatoes so it was no use going unarmed!

I have to say that I will be surprised if we get any substantial news at this point, the Prospectus laid out why SEO needed the money and I feel that we will more likely get meaty news AFTER the micro manufacturing plants have been put into production. I hope that I will be surprised.

The RNS is as expected. All they released was the result of the vote, which was the reason for conviening the EGM. Any other news will need a seperate RNS as the vote result had to be released asap after the vote result was known.

Just got back from the EGM. Here is a quick brain dump
Nothing to really write home about.
The Board got a mild mugging - but got off relatively lightly in my view with a bit of skilful chairmanship.
All resolutions passed qith 99.9% acceptances in pretty well all cases.
What I gleaned form speaking with individuals.
- Elizabeth Filkin does not seem to know what was going on - when asked why they dont appoint a main board director to handle sales and marketing she responded that that was what Martin Wagner as SEO did - and that they did not need one - a point on which we disagreed.
When I asked martin the same question he told me that they had interviewed and were hoping to appoint in next couple of weeks - good news in my books.
On Stanelco's products being on the shelves in Walmart by 1st November - martin confessed that they were close - but reality means probably January ot February.
There was confirmation that deals wer on the table - but were subject to the company obtaining the cash - which it now has - and some final negotiations. He was talking weeks though not months - but would not committ.
The Board were much more tight lipped at this meeting.
Ian Balchin confirmed that orders at Biotec were very pleasing and that they would soon run out of capacity at existing plant. Many others interested.
Martin Wagner seemed very confident that SEO will be an entirely different and profit making company by the end of 2007. Having said that Martin is an extremely difficult person to read.
My guess is that there will not be an RNS re orders for another 3 or 4 weeks. Martin has definitely taken the attitudr that he will only issue an RNS when there is something to shout about. (Sods law says that they will issue one tomorrow)
The research facility in Wales has defintely been canned - the impression being that there were better opportunities elsewhere.
Tony (he who is relaxed) and oilywag gave a good account of themselves and will provide a fuller and more indepth report I am sure later.
I left the meeting feeling rather more unsettled than I went in - but on reflection I really do beleive that this management team ( with exception of elizabeth) seem to understand the real issues and are at last getting to grips with them. There was more of a feeling of focus on key products rather than the scatter gun approach of previous boards.
All for now

There was a question about the filters - but the chairman batted it back and basically said it was going through the process - which means that there is no priority being given to it and unlikely to have any significant effect this year (or next?).

Afternoon All
Before I get down penning my thoughts on this morning's EGM. a very quick thumbnail sketch.
I shall not be buying any more shares in SEO until hard and fast news is released - nor will I be selling.
The board got a pretty good roasting during the official meeting and during the informal discussions afterwards.
The LOIs were dependent on the fundraising but there is still more work to be done on negotiations with legal teams in the UK, US and Germany working on the detail. Negotiations were stopped in October as everything was dependent on the outcome of the EGM etc. There are issues to be clarified with SPhere but we were told that they want to earn revenue from Starpol as much as Biotec and Stanelco do.
Still no hard news on Greenseal nor approval from the FDA for Starpol 3000 although I understood that it is being tested in the US pending approval.
Before the meeting I prepared a list of around 40 questions and managed to ask about 10. MW and Clive Warner were left in no doubt about the frustration and anger of PI over the way the company has been run during the past two years.
Oh, btw guess who was not at the meeting? HW!! Philip Lovegrove, the Chairman said that he was at a meeting at Heathrow with people during a stopover on their way back to the US.
The oily one
More to follow from me and the others later.

Nyleve, there is a village named Hope not too far from where I live, maybe I should move there! Thanks B & O for the info, it is much as I thought it would be at this stage and it actually gives me a bit more confidence that we are at last moving towards a company that can deliver.
