Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Vietnam to ban short, fat traffic police in Hanoi
HANOI: Short, pot-bellied policemen will be banned from traffic duty in Vietnam's capital Hanoi and given office jobs in a bid to improve the force's public image, police said Wednesday.
Details of the new height and weight restrictions were not available but the head of Hanoi's traffic police said they were working on a list of cops who didn't measure up and would be redeployed out of sight.

North Korea says to exercise right to preemptive nuclear attack against U.S. - KCNA
SEOUL | Thu Mar 7, 2013 9:20am GMT
(Reuters) - North Korea threatened on Thursday to exercise its right to stage preemptive nuclear attack against anyone who attacks as Pyongyang ratcheted up its rhetoric against "hostile" countries as the United Nations readied new sanctions against it.
"Since the United States is about to ignite a nuclear war, we will be exercising our right to preemptive nuclear attack against the headquarters of the aggressor in order to protect our supreme interest," the North's foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement carried by the official KCNA news agency.
The North has accused Washington of using military drills in South Korea as a launchpad for a nuclear and conventional attack on it and has threatened to carry out more nuclear weapons tests in response to sanctions promoted by the U.S.

China backs stronger N Korea sanctions
skinny's post perhaps explains the above ...... china might well be an "enemy of the west", but it is also pragmatic and will not appreciate NK's potential destabilisation of the whole region, or in deed the world

See Tory big wigs are wanting shot of Camoron. Teresa May the next leader......jesus...... desperate.
Beginning to like that Davis bloke. Speaks his mind. Redwoods too posh ex public school boy etc etc. and Greylings too thick.
Boris would be the laughing stock and Osbourne seems to have too many fingers in too many outside pies.
IDS reminds me of one of Hitlers hench men and Hammonds a drip.
Partys in a desperate mess.
Ill only come back if they get Portilio installed as leader.

I think the fight between King with Cameron and Osborn is not good for banks like RBS and LLOYDS.
None of them are right, Cameron and Osborn do not bother about growth and King is coming with new ideas out of nowhere when he is leaving. He has nothing to loose by complaining NOW, and may just want reputation! so he can sell his time (lectures) at high prices.
Why is he complaining now?
