If it does drop out of the FTSE AS Index it will be a pain in the arse for many who hold the shares in ISAs and PEPs etc.

Tonyrelaxes - 07 Nov 2006 13:35 - 22138 of 27111

Fred
I think you are referring to a move down to AIM. This is not likely to happen.
If it drops out of an Index it is still listed on LSE main market.

garyble - 07 Nov 2006 13:38 - 22139 of 27111

would be more than a pain in the arse for me if it moves to AIM, would be an absolute disaster!

Fred1new - 07 Nov 2006 15:07 - 22140 of 27111

Tony and Gar, apologies I am always thinking disaster is around the corner.

garyble - 07 Nov 2006 16:10 - 22141 of 27111

Fred1,

Its quite possible with SEO!

greekman - 07 Nov 2006 16:40 - 22142 of 27111

With the first full trading day with the new shares on the market, and the total volume of 188,547,445 showing a net of -171,037,185 I am reasonably happy with just a 0.02p drop in the sp. With this very small drop, I suspect that there are either many orders not showing or not filled.
There will be much wheeling and dealing behind the scenes re the sp for the next few weeks. As usual us poor punters will struggle to see any trend coming.
This is obviously discounting any further relevant news.

stockdog - 07 Nov 2006 17:56 - 22143 of 27111

Fred1 - round the corner, you're joking - it's coming right at you! lol!

Greekman - beg to differ - how can you discount future news, or do you mean ignoring future news, or am I being silly about semantics?

explosive - 07 Nov 2006 18:33 - 22144 of 27111

Nominee account credited with rights issue shares today, averages me down to 9.3p,

stop laughing!!!

Looks very grim.....

bhunt1910 - 07 Nov 2006 18:39 - 22145 of 27111

Nah - u should be ok then when they do a 10: 1 consolidation then - cos each share will be worth about 10p !!!!!!!! ;o)

qtheman - 07 Nov 2006 21:36 - 22146 of 27111

Can we expect an RNS(s) tomorrow telling us who has bought large quantities(3%+) in the placing? That would be the 48 hour rule would'nt it? That for me will speak volumes.

greekman - 08 Nov 2006 07:46 - 22147 of 27111

Stockdog,
I could have been a bit clearer (I always make sense to myself).
When I said,"This is obviously discounting any further relevant news", I meant that my comments stand until there is future news. Obviously I am not discounting such news as something hugely material to the sp is bound to happen sometime, good or bad.
I was mainly referring to "will struggle to see any trend coming", without something solid to go on.

bhunt1910 - 08 Nov 2006 07:47 - 22148 of 27111

I knew what you meant !

greekman - 08 Nov 2006 08:02 - 22149 of 27111

Cheers Bhunt,

Thats 2 of us.
With OT trades in already at sell 32 mill, could be a testing day

stockdog - 08 Nov 2006 08:21 - 22150 of 27111

I knew too, g-man - just checking if you did. lol!

alfalfa - 08 Nov 2006 08:27 - 22151 of 27111

greekman - What do you mean by OT trades ? Thanks.

Alfa.

greekman - 08 Nov 2006 08:55 - 22152 of 27111

Hi, Alfalfa,

OT=over night trades.

bhunt1910 - 08 Nov 2006 09:00 - 22153 of 27111

yep - we are going to drift until we get news of orders - and then there should be a marked improvement in price.

Dont expect the orders to come through for 3 - 4 weeks though as they stopped negotiations in October until they had raised the capital. You can bet those negotiations are already back on the table and due process is being followed.

Mad Pad - 08 Nov 2006 12:48 - 22154 of 27111

Bas,personally I will be happy if we get one signed contract for a MMP by Christmas and don't expect any more but if the 2nd came through as well that would be a bonus.Remember we have British,American and German lawyers working on these contracts ,on 2nd thoughts...........did I say which Christmas?!!Here's hoping.
