Can't trust you lot in the slightest.
My back is turned for a few hours while I sort my solicitor out and i come back to find the SP has gone blue and you've let the French sell up.
I'll have to go out more often ;-)

Alan/Kim - Don't forget that the French may not be out altogether.

They simply have less than a notifiable interest (3.00%).

As a CFD house, it may be better if they are all out.

Alfa.

bhunt1910 - 08 Nov 2006 17:30 - 22166 of 27111

I missed the bit about the french being out - where was that notified ???

hewittalan6 - 08 Nov 2006 17:31 - 22167 of 27111

The Company was also notified by a separate letter from Calyon Corporate and

bhunt1910 - 08 Nov 2006 18:21 - 22168 of 27111

Missed that - thanks Alan

hewittalan6 - 08 Nov 2006 18:22 - 22169 of 27111

It is possible that rather than sell, they simply did not take up their offering and so have less than 3%, though I doubt that.

kimoldfield - 08 Nov 2006 18:30 - 22170 of 27111

Alfa, some of the big sells today may be a further French retreat?
kim

automatic - 08 Nov 2006 20:36 - 22171 of 27111

calyon corperate must have made a nice profit?can't remember what they bought at though, does anyone think that if SP goes up say to 2p that the other big buyers will be selling to? if so then i would not like to guess where the SP would be certainly below 1p

ths - 08 Nov 2006 20:45 - 22172 of 27111

I'm not sure that they sold they just might have had their holding diluted

Tonyrelaxes - 08 Nov 2006 22:18 - 22173 of 27111

Been out all day. Nice welcome home. Thanks.
Reading back, 2 things:-

MadPad 22154. "Remember we have British,American and German lawyers working on these contracts". I bet French lawyers are working on it too - and not from such a positive viewpoint as we might wish!!

Alan 22169. It is also possible they took up some of their Entitlement (but not all) and just fell below the 3%. If they took up full entitlement they would have now been holding about 3.2%. I have not looked at the overall % that did not take up to see how that matches - it is spoiling the tranquility in my head after a good day out!

sellsell - 09 Nov 2006 08:36 - 22174 of 27111

where has everyone gone - just shocked about the turnaround maybe!
