UBS-SCHRODERS and now ME!! not in the million club as I was with the other one but enough to keep me happy if they carry on like this. Incredible number of shares traded so far today. Champagne party if they reach 1 ???

The best part about these notifiable interests is that the holders will not put up with the shoddy performance this mgt. has given us without demanding and getting changes. The sooner we ship out out some of the current Board the better; in my view they are not astute enough or competent enough to manage the commercialisation of a great line-up of products.

A record? Five consecutive RNSs without a correction of the figures.
Is this indicative of the turn around in management performance we all crave?

Catching up a bit more.
Looking at the Notifiable Interest RNSs - The Coal people and the Mineworkers paid up close to a 1million more each,
- UBS added about 1m too, assuming thay had none before.
Some of these shares may have come under the Open Entitlements at .008p or from the Firm Placing with 'Institutions' at .008p or a combination of both. Either way, we are still in the dark about the other 8million+ Firm Placing buyers.
More RNSs to come?

there'll be 5 corrected RNSs at once they've probably been too busy spending the 15m the last 2 days!

I wonder if the upturn is down (no pun intended) more to those who thought the sp would drop on Tues due to dilution, now realizing that most of it had already been factored in and deciding to stick or twist. I like the majority, according to these threads am sticking with what I have got, just waiting as patiently as possible.

Back to Calyon holding.
It is possible that their total holding equates to ~78m shares representing ~2.6%. The fact that the RNS does not state "after a sale of x shares" could simply mean that upon the take-up of their entitlement they no longer have >3% stake.

It looks to me that they either sold some or did not take up their full entitlement or a bit of each.
If my figures and sums are right, and I do get a lot wrong, - The number of Issued Shares increased from (aprox) 990,939,939 by 1,975,992,559 to a new total of 2,966,932,498 shares in issue. 3% of that (Notifiable holding) is 89,007,974 shares.
They previously held 59,500,724 shares (5.94%). Full 5:3 rights would take them to 95,201,158. But they are claiming to be below 89m shares so they did not just take up and held the full quota of Open Offer shares.

Tony,
Total shares in issue: 2,977,646,824 taken from RNS of 7th Nov re: "Issue of Equity"
3% threshold = 89,329,404.
Calyon RNS of 11th Oct. states their holding as at that date of: 30,323,386 shares. Assuming that quantity was held by the Ex date of the offer, Calyon would be entitled to: 18,194,031 shares.
The last known holding of Calyon was RNS dated 17th Oct. with a holding of 59,500,724 shares.
So, the most Calyon could hold would have been: 59,500,724 + 18,194,031 = 77,694,755 shares ~2.6%

The entitlement was 3 for each 5 existing shares held.
59,500,724 divide by 5, times 3 = 35,700,434 Entitlement.
Their new possible total was 95,201,158.

Tony,
read my lips.....they only held about 30m shares by the Ex date after which point a further increase in holding would not entitle them to any more shares on the offer!

I think the future board meetings are going to be a lot more stressful for the Directors of Stanelco.
Having Schroders on your tail will certainly concentrate the mind and now we have UBS with 4% and the buying continues!
The Directors could turn up one morning and be gone by lunchtime - they have no shareholdings worth talking about - so this could be very good for us long suffering private shareholders as these new holders will not tolerate failure.
