I went out, Bunny. Looked in the fridge and all I could see was Pedigree Chum and Chips or Bonio and Curry Sauce. The rest of the fridge was full of Bods. Join me in a glass of wine?

optomistic - 11 Jan 2005 13:51 - 22240 of 23498

I will P, would be glad of the company in here today, pleased I have got plenty to do. Hi Bunny, late out of ther burrow this morning/afternoon!!

Priscilla - 11 Jan 2005 13:53 - 22241 of 23498

Hey! Opto! Pull up a glass. How's the world treating you today?

optomistic - 11 Jan 2005 13:59 - 22242 of 23498

Alright P. would like it to be a little more financially rewarding though. What about you, winning? Heck of a size glass do we have anything smaller.

Priscilla - 11 Jan 2005 14:04 - 22243 of 23498

Oops, sorry, I gave you a 'girly's' glass by mistake. Yep, my small caps are doing well at the moment, so I'm quite pleased. I'm just around for the next hour until I have to wander off for a medical appointment. Seems I caught something from either the Poochy's fluffy ears or Bunny's. Quick trip to the vet for me later but I don't expect he'll have me put down.

optomistic - 11 Jan 2005 14:07 - 22244 of 23498

Must have been Poochy, he was in a playfull mood last night, those little things jump all over the place but they can't live on humans so you will soon be OK. I'm out now for an hour, car is due for MOT. Bye

stockbunny - 11 Jan 2005 14:19 - 22245 of 23498

I'd love a glass of wine Priscilla and whatever you've caught was
definitely acquired from the Mutt, I take my personal hygiene very
seriously (smoothing down an ear) I'm had a busy morning - off to check
the market.

Priscilla - 11 Jan 2005 14:23 - 22246 of 23498

Hang on, we're not talking fleas here! Just an ear infection that won't respond to antibiotics. So I'm taking advantage of the wine before Dr Killjoy bans me from drinking for another few weeks..... Cheers, Bun!

jj50 - 11 Jan 2005 15:21 - 22247 of 23498

P. - I don't think Poochy has to resort to girlie magazines :-)) Have ordered a Scottish cashmere blanket so that should keep the mut cosy!!

Good luck with the ears - had same problem myself after swimming last year. Numerous courses of antibiotics didn't fix it, finally steroid ear drops but not 100% even now; just goes to show that as I always suspected, getting fit is hazardous :-)

Hi, bunny/opto. Quick cup of tea for me please - trying to cut back on wine ;-(

hilary - 11 Jan 2005 15:28 - 22248 of 23498

A (swimmer) friend had a problem with what he and the doctor thought was an ear infection which wouldn't clear up after repeated courses of antibiotics. He had been blaming it on the pool.

It eventually turned out to be a problem with his neck which an orthopaedic doctor sorted after he went to the hospital.

Kayak - 11 Jan 2005 15:38 - 22249 of 23498

Earache is also often a symptom of tooth infection...

optomistic - 11 Jan 2005 15:48 - 22250 of 23498

I am smiling from ear to ear....car passed its MOT :-))) Large pot of tea please and a danish if we have any left.
jj cutting back is easy, just don't start to drink until 5pm. Not saying when to finish though.

stockbunny - 11 Jan 2005 16:11 - 22251 of 23498

Great news on the car Opto - now some less welcome news...
Sorry to say I have picked up a computer virus, one of those
unknown types so if I have emailed any of you in the last few
days PLEASE run a virus check on your computer, as I don't know
if it's one that passes on via email - sorry folks, was only
noitifed by Norton about an hour ago, so far I can't do anything
about it - if anyone has any ideas please say.
(it can't be repaired, quarrentined or deleted by Norton)
I've put a post into the PC clinic thread in the traders room
to see if anyone can give me any ideas. File infected is
c:\\windows\system32\FScET.dll

jj50 - 11 Jan 2005 16:23 - 22252 of 23498

Bunny, so sorry to hear about the virus. So maddening.

Kayak, yes ... investigated the tooth option but the dentist said no
problem there...may consider Hilary's neck option next!!! I am not normally neurotic but would be good to get it cleared up :-)

opto, the sort of advice I welcome!

optomistic - 11 Jan 2005 16:27 - 22253 of 23498

Happy to help jj :-)

jj50 - 11 Jan 2005 16:34 - 22254 of 23498

Bunny, am baking you a carrot cake while opto solves your problems in the
other room :-)

Priscilla - 11 Jan 2005 16:38 - 22255 of 23498

Back from ear-man with prescription for more ear drops. Two different types this time with instructions to try No. 1 for one week and if no better, switch to No. 2! Daft thing is I feel OK. But, in his words, 'Aaargh! That looks nasty!' .... so cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit, please.

jj50 - 11 Jan 2005 16:42 - 22256 of 23498

Bunny is busy with her virus Priscilla so I shall serve you tea and a few choccie biscuits! Good luck with the drops.

Good evening all. Lots of posts today, quite breathtaking.

Golddog
I have noted your comment about a dog for Christmas and will bear it in mind. We usually have a turkey but are always open to new ideas.
