not sure, but though PVCS has not moved, SOLA's move may just be in sympathy with First Solar in USA who reported stunning results and whose sp then jumped 20/25% before yesterday's open and held it

stopped out, could be mistake, and as usual watch it slip back, but decided to stick with decision... difficult to say if stops are saving or costing me at the mo, i think the former to be fair...

if you look at chart the last lower high was early Feb at 340 (resistance), if this rally fails to reach 340 and then reverses, I would take this as a short signal, and go for a position once this is confirmed.

Would be interested in views, as to whether I have read this correctly or not.

One other possible scenario: Is a reverse head & shoulders forming, as in dec?

I see what you mean Harry, in which case it would have pause at 340ish and level out before heading up. Either way I believe 340 is the level to watch.

For me, didn't like the strength that it surged through 320 to leave a short running, if it had paused i may have rethought, i agree 340 is pivotal...

Dow is struggling seriously to hold above 12500, and have shorted same.
Am also short of SOLA, and though did that too early at 276, am tempted to short further for all sorts of good chart reasons
Contemplated shorting here (AL.) but may have missed the boat.

unfortunately I was out this afternoon so missed sola turning down, hopefully I should have a chance in morning to short.

I have a short running on GAW based on awful fundamentals and over valuation, check out last weeks article in share mag, worth a look. Just closed a short on KGF, maybe to early as could be more to go for.

Tempted with shorts for RYA and IHG, Marriot Hotels had 4th quarter results today, which didn't look that good at first glance, but will wait for comments before shorting IHG.

Would be interested to hear views on these ideas.

i am indeed ..... initially prematurely at 276, but topped up (an oxymoron i guess) by 40% at 308, so now almost b/e
