Worrier - 10 Nov 2006 22:24 - 22261 of 27111

What has changed? Nothing except sentiment which is turning positive as D-day (Deal-Day) gets closer.

I can see momentum trading driving this a lot further on improving sentiment

Not worried

well, due to house move, had no t'internet and then quick break in sun, have only just got back and trawled through the past dozen or so pages.
Wish i could have gone to EGM (if only to see what you guys look like).
Recovery still seems a while away, but it all looks good.
theres still the lingering promise of 'jam tomorrow'
but at least I can now see it on sheves.

Just in case some of you are not aware of SEO's nuclear energy involvement and therefore, another string to their bow (it is on their website) this was part of a report on the American Glovebox Soc conference 4 months ago. Not as important as Wrap, Starpol and Greenseal but at least it is something to read whilst we wait for Ronald MacDonald to sign on the dotted line.

Presentation to the 20th American Glovebox Society Conference
San Antonio 18th -19th July 2006
David Yew
British Nuclear Group Sellafield Limited

United Kingdom

7. PVC welding equipment
Anumber of minor incidents following failed welding of PVC posting bags led to
a review by AWE/BNGSL of the equipment being used to perform the welding
operation. The provision of Radio Frequency (RF) welding equipment had been
generally the same for approximately 20 years.

Consultations with plant operators outlined their requirements and a number of
suppliers of RF welding equipment were contacted to enquire if they would like to be
part of the development, Agreement was reached with one such company, StanelcoTM,
and a RF welding machine was developed for specific use within the UK Nuclear
Industry. A BNGSL specification for the manufacture of the equipment was
developed with StanelcoTM and the resultant Company Standard machine accepted by
the plant operators. The machine has been used extensively at Sellafield.
Developments of the the standard machine have recently been completed to meet
specified AWE operational requirements.

I hope they don't wrap nuclear waste in Starpol!

Tweenie, you haven't moved into Alan's former house have you?!

tweenie - 12 Nov 2006 05:57 - 22265 of 27111

I think he lives on the wrong side of the pennines.
'he likes what he says and he says what he likes!'
(no offence alan)
:-)
Bring on global warming.....the north could do with a little less rain.

hewittalan6 - 12 Nov 2006 08:52 - 22266 of 27111

Or as we say in Yorkshire;
"Hear all, see all, say nowt
Eat all, drink all, pay nowt
And if you ever do owt for nowt....
Do it for thissen"

I finally get to move house on Friday, and for any Welsh on here I am moving to a house called Rhos-Gwyn. That might tell you something.
Alan

kimoldfield - 12 Nov 2006 10:10 - 22267 of 27111

I shall be up there later with my Red Dragon flag to claim the property on behalf of Plaid Cymru Alan! Did David Lloyd George once live there?! Rhos Gwyn is translated as something like white heath or moor I think. I am sure the move will go without a hitch ;-)

Anyone else unable to access Paul's chatroom?Interesting that he is posting on the" Life Style Extra"Stanelco thread.

Tonyrelaxes - 12 Nov 2006 11:26 - 22269 of 27111

Can't get it either. His research site works but not the link there to the discussion forum. Tried my "Favourites Places" (sic) link but not working either.

Mad Pad - 12 Nov 2006 12:10 - 22270 of 27111

If the site is down, that's probably why he is using lse.co.uk.

Tonyrelaxes - 12 Nov 2006 12:11 - 22271 of 27111

down or out?

hewittalan6 - 12 Nov 2006 12:12 - 22272 of 27111

Kim, its White Rose!!!!! Yorkshire!!!!!

Mad Pad - 12 Nov 2006 13:09 - 22273 of 27111

Maybe Stanelco said they would reinstate the link to Paul's site if he agreed to remove the chatroom?

Oilywag - 12 Nov 2006 13:41 - 22274 of 27111

Mad Pad

When I spoke to Cliver Warner alone about it I got the impression that the company wanted nothing to do with Masterton's site in the future. An acknowledgment in my opinion of that they did not see it as being beneficial to SEO.
