Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Like Fred, for the first time ever I couldnt get the traders index page on Friday. ISP is www.fast24.co.uk using 64k ISDN. It had sorted itself out by Saturday but it is unusually slow again today.

Still getting timed out!V Frustrating

IanT(MoneyAM) - 22 Jun 2004 09:08 - 2236 of 7315

Iain,

This is a bit of a mystery - does it happen in any pattern or is it random? in addition to this has the problem been there since the start, or has it just been in the past few week?

Are you accessing the system from home or from work? and do you have any kind of personal firewall on the PC.

If the problem started recently, can you tell me if you made any changes to your PC at the point in time?

Thanks

Ian

Felix(MoneyAM) - 22 Jun 2004 11:01 - 2239 of 7315

Fundamentalist,
I reloaded the data for this yesterday - you should be able to see data
going back to '94 now.

I know questions have been raised before about stockwatch trades reports.
My concern relates to the CUM VOL report. Currently, for example, CUM is substantially less than SELL + BUY for BT.A and FTO, why is this. I have seen the reasoning behind the CUM figure being greater than the sum of these two, so called "unknowns" but I cannot see why it would report a lower figure?

SC,

I will take a look into this.

Ta!

dell314 - 25 Jun 2004 16:14 - 2244 of 7315

Ian,
Whilst a lively coloured "news" icon on the stockwatch screen could be considered a bonus(as previously discussed), having all the "T" and "2" buttons on a bold background merely distracts from where the action is.

P.S. i am still waiting for a possible solution to my L2 display problem.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Jun 2004 16:16 - 2245 of 7315

Dell,

Your thoughts are duly noted - I will get back to you on the L2 display thing - I am not sure what to make of it from your screen shot, but I will speak to JT about this when he is back in the office on Tuesday.

Thanks

In suggestion mode again, would it be possible to put a marker of some kind in stockwatch against the epic and name of shares which get suspended? With my legendary stock-picking, I do end up with suspensions and it would be handy.
It needs to be against both of course because the optional column layout means you will probably only have one or the other on view.
Thanks
SC

IanT(MoneyAM) - 28 Jun 2004 07:38 - 2247 of 7315

SC,

Tnanks for the suggestion.

This would be pretty tricky at the moment, simply because of the way we find out whether certain stocks have been suspended. I will however pass this onto our tech guys for consideration.

Thanks

Ian
