Thx PTHPOLDEN,
As i said i was thinking of topping up,but will wait to see 3.8 as i have to agree with your thoughts,am confident it will pick up,lets see.thx again

grevis2 - 03 May 2005 13:44 - 224 of 305

EVS looks to have bottomed out. Time to get back in me thinks! Buyers are coming in thick and fast at this level. That 260K showing as a sell was actually a delayed buy from an hour ago. Good luck!

capetown - 03 May 2005 14:36 - 225 of 305

Looks like you were spot on PTH CHEERS!!!!

Slight recovery this PM, but perhaps still a little bit early to jump in yet. Will be interested to see what happens tomorrow. It has only tested the support level once, I would like to see a positive day prior to making a decision.

It's hard to overlook the fact that two large Financial Institutions have taken a 3% plus stake in recent weeks and at prices well above today's closing levels. Now the CEO has given a signal that all is ship shape at EVS, so what more do you all want before taking the plunge. This company is growing and has a projected forward PE of around 6. The stock price has fallen along with the rest of the AIM market and not for any other reason. Derampers will try to convince that this stock has further to fall but they fail to provide any logical reason for their predictions. EVS will go higher sooner rather than later. This stock has a good following but there are still a few nervous holders pulling it back for the moment. Buyers are out there but as some have said, they are waiting for a sign that the bottom has been reached. The trouble is that when it does start to move ahead, the MMs will start their usual antics of restricting the flow of stock. Don't get caught out by dithering for too long. If you believe in this stock then tuck a few away before the price goes ballistic again. Good luck!

The forcasts for EVS are:

Year ending 30 June 2005: EPS 0.33p, PE 12.17
Year ending 30 June 2006: EPS 0.64p, PE 6.36, growth 91.39%

I knew I didn't buy a bummer. These are only going one way...up.

andysmith - 05 May 2005 16:28 - 231 of 305

Glad I didn't buy at 6p, but this seems to have bounced from the bottom.
OK, could have bought yesterday and today for 4.25p but so what, tomorrow at 4.5p will still get me 30% more shares than a few weeks ago.
PTH, is this the bounce you wanted to see? Andy

mickeyskint - 05 May 2005 16:42 - 232 of 305

Yes, you were right to hold back Andy, good call.I still see this as a good outfit with a lot of potential but it looks as if it will take time. So long term I don't see any problems. Not a short term buy though. Me the wally was in at 6p so my timing was way out. I'll just have to give myself a slap on the bum....no better not I'll only enjoy that!!

ptholden - 05 May 2005 17:08 - 233 of 305

AndyS

The SP has twice tested the support at 3.8p and rising trend over the last two days and survived the ordeal. Yesterday's Director's buy and today's SP increase in the SP bodes well and hopefully we should now see a steady increase rather than the spike caused by magazine tips. The stock has given the impression of being oversold, but the charts quite frankly still do not look particularly good. But then, I have learnt to be a cautious individual and wary of catching a falling knife. However, one can be too cautious and dependant on the mood of the market, following the General Election I will probably have a 'go' tomorrow. Incidentally, I do agree with the comments of many posters on this thread that EVS show significant potential, but there's always a right time to buy!

Haystack - 05 May 2005 22:13 - 234 of 305

This still looks very weak. Their Cheaper Call rate (CCR) is not that cheap. There are lots of companies offering cheaper calls.

www.1899.com

is 1p / min to France
0.5 p . min to USA and Canada
and they have a special deal of 0p per minute to Germany. You just pay the connection charge. You can also us it for cheap mobile calls as cheap as 2p at times. You do not have to register a telephone number to be called for every number. You can call any destination in the world once registered.

www.18866.com is also extremely cheap for UK calls. You only pay the connection charge and then it is 0p per minute at any time.

Haystack - 05 May 2005 22:14 - 235 of 305

I expect this to be falling agaon very soon.

Tenereds - 06 May 2005 11:53 - 236 of 305

BEWARE OF ANY COMMENTS MADE BY HAYSTACK

This person has infiltrated the company's BB on Ad..n over the last week or so and has blatantly de-ramped this stock for no other purpose than that he is employed by a competitor.

He has been temporarily banned by Ad..n for his de-ramping comments which he cannot substantiate.

He is also well known on other company BBs for his de-ramping comments and it would appear that it is extremely difficult to find any stock that he has actually supported.

It is well worth looking at the other BB to see his witterings and see the justified support this company has from its many supporters.

This is a good company with a rosy future. Do not be put off!

capetown - 06 May 2005 12:01 - 237 of 305

Well i for one have stayed with it and have topped up,at 4.25/5.15/6.10/PLUS a major buy at 2.75,so let us all enjoy 10pence by the end of the year!!

Haystack - 06 May 2005 12:10 - 238 of 305

Tenereds
At least post something close to the truth. I have not been banned temporarily or otherwise ever by ADVFN. You shouldn't believe what other posters say.

I see EVS is going down today despite some buys. Is this poor market sentiment towards EVS or is there a large sell not reported yet?

How much of a loss will the CCR part of EVS lose this year and how much will it impact adversely on EVS's bottom line.

Tenereds - 06 May 2005 12:45 - 239 of 305

Hi,

What did I tell you, you cannot believe everything this person says as evidenced by following post on Ad..n His comments of"I have not been banned temporarily or otherwise EVER by Ad..n

It was only after a further email from the originator of the complaint that Haystack has been given another chance but with the proviso that he does not continue his de-ramping actions.

It is only a matter of time before he does.

I am afraid that the above post is a fake. You must try and not be so gullible. If you believe everything you see in posts on BBs then you may need a reality check.

it would have been prudent to paste the WHOLE post ( which of course would give the identity of the poster ( i presume a peep from MAM ).

maybe it was omitted for nefarious reasons?.........i only ask as i am interested on accurate/free speech on bbs.

Tenereds - 06 May 2005 13:15 - 242 of 305

Hi,

You can check on its originality by looking at the BB in question and the subsequent posts if you like.

I, too, am only interested in accurate/free speech and not comments from a well known de-ramper.

I accept that his company has cheaper call rates to some countries but CCR is only a small part of Envesta's business. Just look at the company's website Envestatelecom.com for a fuller picture.
