2p. All but!
The institutions 11million now worth 27.5million - all in 5 weeks.
Nice work if you can get it.

Not sure what a Holding RNS is.
But as the Chairman promised us last monday "any RNSs will be clear, factual, actual as to what is going to happen", we should find out not only what is being held but who's it is. ;-)

Simon - RNS = Regulatory News Service.
Certain actions that can affect a companies share price are legally required to be reported such as directors buy/sells, announcements of AGM/EGM/Interims/Finals, etc, etc. Another example is when an investor buys enough shares in the company that they then hold more than 3% (Tony-I think this is what The Master is refering to) or sell enough that their holding drops below 3%. An RNS allows them to do this.

My last post was a bit flippant (the quote was real), but while on the topic I still feel we are due more information of shareholdings following the Firm Placing that raised 11million. I have not done the sums but that must equate to a high number of "Institutions" taking it up if they are all below 3%.
These shares came to the market last tuesday. Within what period of acquisition must such an announcement be made?

Tony,
Would be a minimum of 17 Institutions & PIs if no other RNSs are required.

Tony - not too sure, but I think a change to notifiable holdings must be made within 7 days. Somebody wiser than me out there could probably put us straight.

Gary & Star - Thanks
Seems an unlikely high number - more announcements probably due then.

Tony - not necessarily. I think (again somebody could put us straight) that if an investor already holds more than 3% and increases that holding to (say) 4%, then they are under no obligation to inform the company and therefore no RNS is issued. The criteria is simply if the increase/decrease crosses the magic 3% threshold.

Starfrog,
Re the holding 3% and then increasing holdings. No notification required.
But can put out info if sufficient increase to effect the shares sp.

Any comments on the buy of 27,764,721 shares @ 1.86p at 17:10 surely an RNS must follow this purchase.

The 27m plus is I believe a sell and matches the one earlier this morning.
This is why the price is lower.
