Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

"Based on the success achieved through the initial phase of reseller
recruitment, the company will be expanding its activities during 2004 with the
objective of substantially increasing the number of resellers representing the
product portfolio.
The company also said it has a number of new partnerships that are close to
being concluded and will be announcing these in the coming months. The group
also said the percentage of revenues achieved from third party sources is on an
upward trend and looks set to continue in this direction"

The first paragraph we already know as they have appeared on Cybits website,
The second paragraph is still to come, and maybe they have a present for us at tommorows AGM?.
:o)

On 'histerical' evidence don't count your chickens etc. here, as today once again shows!!!!!!!!

Legins - 03 Aug 2004 00:58 - 2237 of 3104

Are we begining to see a recovery of the share price?

The value of many similar software/technology companies like TAD, CWV, CHR, CRX and many other AIM listed shares, most have fallen in excess of 50 - 70% since Jan04 and so has the index also fallen. Shorely it must be now due for the Bears to hibernate and that MM's will begin to recognise the value of retail & institutional investment into these companies and the market acceptances of their products and services or will we have to wait for improved interim or final results to stop the share prices from falling any further.

Looks as though they have a major agreement with NU, an existing customer anyway, but perhaps this agreement is much bigger than anything we have seen before. I'm sure they will release some news giving much more detail soon.

Cybit Holdings Plc
('Cybit' or the 'Company')

AGM Statement

At today's AGM of Cybit Holdings Plc Neil Johnson, Chairman, will make the
following statement:

'I am pleased to report that our forward order book remains strong and current
trading is in line with expectations. This performance comes despite continued
difficult trading conditions in our commercial markets and we look forward to
the future with confidence.

I am pleased to report that Norwich Union Insurance Limited ('NUI') has
confirmed its intent to establish a three year strategic partnership agreement
with Cybit to develop and implement focused fleet telematics solutions. These
solutions will utilise data from Cybit's telematics devices to better manage
fleet risk. Working through NUI's intermediaries, the agreement will provide
Cybit with access to NUI's commercial motor base. More details on this agreement
will be released in due course.

I announced in the Annual Report that Juliet Hoskins, who has been a major
contributor to the board since the Company's flotation in March 2001, wished to
step down from the board at this AGM. I would like to take this opportunity to
publicly record our thanks for all her hard work and wish her well in the
future.

Finally, I should like once again to thank Richard Horsman our Chief Executive,
all of the Cybit personnel and my colleagues on the Plc board for all their hard
work in continuing the success of your Company in the current year.

This is ridiculous, this many buys and the price doesnt move, what is the point of being in this game?? How can you play against this? I give up, sell coming up.

predator22 - 03 Aug 2004 17:39 - 2245 of 3104

kivver the buy and sell columns are a waste of time.
the only way to know what is a buy or sell is to have level 2 or do dumby buys and sells all day.

ironnick - 03 Aug 2004 19:33 - 2246 of 3104

I attended the AGM together with fourteen others. I will give my assessment tomorrow as I've only just got back indoors, after a particularly painful journey home via London Bridge and am due elsewhere very soon. Billam had their rep there and two to three of the others were from the press. Of those present, no one identified himself to me as a poster. RH was particularly good and reassuring, as was NJ. Based on what I heard, I will remain a holder for some time. Update tomorrow. Hanglider, thanks for the beer.

This company is steady as she goes, picking up good orders -the revenue flows and growing profits will follow. Still too small for the market to notice but in acouple of years when the bank balances build up and maybe some dividends!! we will be happy holders! I've just looked at the DATA results--tiny company small turnover and still lossmaking--WHY is the share price 98p?? In my humble opinion CYH is treated very harshly.

Douggie - 04 Aug 2004 09:01 - 2248 of 3104
