total of 3.97 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

TOTAL 118,342,093

garyble - 14 Nov 2006 11:30 - 22335 of 27111

With regard to rules on disclosure etc....

taken from: http://www.fsa.gov.uk/pubs/cp/cp06_04.pdf

"the thresholds that are currently used in the UK under the CA1985, namely 3% and every percentage point above for material nterests, and 10% and every percentage point above for any interest"

"Under the CA1985, a shareholder must notify the company within two days following the day on which the obligation to notify arose. Under the Listing Rules, the listed company must then notify a RIS as soon as possible and not later than the end of the business day following receipt of the information"

CA1985 = Companies Act 1985

The above was taken from the "FSA Implementation Of The Transparency Directive.... March 2006"

So UBS moving from 4.07% to 3.97% breached the 4.0% line and hence triggered the RNS.

Gary. Thanks.

hewittalan6 - 14 Nov 2006 14:01 - 22337 of 27111

This isn't turning out to be the best day we have had in the last couple of weeks!!

automatic - 14 Nov 2006 14:12 - 22338 of 27111

We all know that with no news of contracts, orders, the SP will fall, if there was no truth in the rumour with SEO, MCDs ,would not SEO have to say so?

pinnacle - 14 Nov 2006 15:24 - 22339 of 27111

This is why I have said what I have before.

The Management are not what is required to take the company forward.

Contracts will hopefully be announced and then if your average is around that price due to the good news then very good judgement is required as to sell or stick.

The news would have to be very good for me to stick as the management are not capable of taking this business to the next level - hence my thoughts of takeover - it is the only way forward and for us to make any money.

Schroders are running the business - and that is my salvation.

stockdog - 14 Nov 2006 15:35 - 22340 of 27111

As you might say, "My schRODers, but not my STAFF comfort me"!

pinnacle - 14 Nov 2006 15:45 - 22341 of 27111

Stockdog,

I had to have a discussion with my confidant about that quip!!!

Very good.

We need more like you!!

Sharesure - 14 Nov 2006 16:04 - 22342 of 27111

pinnacle, couldn't agree more; the sooner we (or as is more likely, the institutions) can show this mgt the door the better for all concerned. They haven't the calibre and experience in my opinion; we deserve better.

halfamil - 14 Nov 2006 16:17 - 22345 of 27111

Anyone remember when the agenda for the EGM was first published they had the audacity to suggesst that there would be a vote to "adequately reward" Wagner and someone else when all these contracts come to fruition. What happened? Was there a vote?

alfalfa - 14 Nov 2006 16:24 - 22346 of 27111

Lovegrove, Balchin and Feast have taken up their full allocation in the open offer.

Drew has taken up an additional 45% rather than a possible 60%.

Tonyrelaxes - 14 Nov 2006 16:33 - 22347 of 27111

Nothing about Age of Reason?
Does this imply they still have between 13% and 14% (13.19% was the holding after the sale of 85m shares) as a result of dilution? In which case they did not take up their Open Offer entitlement?

Also Richards & Appleby - they droped from 6.27% to 3.62% on a full take up.

Tonyrelaxes - 14 Nov 2006 16:41 - 22348 of 27111

Its not over yet!!
White and Balchin out.

Project Foil looking far more meaningful - now for the rest of it.

Oilywag - 14 Nov 2006 16:50 - 22351 of 27111

Well then, that's no surprise, Howard White departing!

I think about time too as well.

The oily one

kimoldfield - 14 Nov 2006 16:52 - 22352 of 27111
