unfortunately I was out this afternoon so missed sola turning down, hopefully I should have a chance in morning to short.
I have a short running on GAW based on awful fundamentals and over valuation, check out last weeks article in share mag, worth a look. Just closed a short on KGF, maybe to early as could be more to go for.
Tempted with shorts for RYA and IHG, Marriot Hotels had 4th quarter results today, which didn't look that good at first glance, but will wait for comments before shorting IHG.
Would be interested to hear views on these ideas.

It will be interesting to see if the performance of the U.S. listing is mirrored in the U.K.
"Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- ReneSola Ltd., the world's largest recycler of scrap wafers used in solar panels, jumped in New York trading after being upgraded to ``buy'' from ``neutral'' at Goldman Sachs Group Inc."
Looks like the SOLA shorters have moved on to new pastures???

but that is nearly a week ago ..... subsequently SOLA have failed to break upwards, or downwards for that matter ..... i am still short, but partly as a hedge as i still do not trust the markets and indices are now approaching some fairly tough hurdles

Tricky to know if the sp will stop at the 220p level, which is presumably where the shorters are aiming for?

Short going very well, this looks like we have further to fall.
Results last year late April so theres a good chance that we may see further falls.

Could it be that the support at 260p has finally been breached?.

Personally I don't think there ever was support at 260p. Refer to the last chart I posted, somewhere in the region of 200p was always the target.

ADRs in Focus: LDK Solar Shares Fall
Monday March 3, 4:19 pm ET
ADRs of Solar Cell Maker LDK Solar Slide After Analyst Cuts Target and Profit Estimates
NEW YORK (AP) -- U.S.-traded shares of China-based solar cell maker LDK Solar Co. dropped Monday after a Goldman Sachs analyst cut her share price target, saying higher material costs will reduce LDK's profits.
Cheryl Tang lowered her price target to $28 per share from $33, and forecast smaller profits in 2008 and 2009. She said LDK's increasing solar wafer production will not make up for the rising cost of polysilicon -- a key material used in solar cell manufacturing -- and as a result, the company's profit margins will decline.
She said LDK will experience lower sale prices in the first quarter of 2008 because it is filling orders with predetermined prices. Over the next two years, Tang said LDK will not collect enough revenue to make up for its rising spending.
Tang kept a "Neutral" rating on LDK shares.
A Barron's article also cast doubt on the quality of LDK's polysilicon inventory, backing an allegation made by the company's former controller in October.
LDK stock fell $2.70, or 9.5 percent, to close at $25.88. LDK trades as ADRs, or American Depositary Receipts, which are securities that allow U.S. investors to trade shares of companies based overseas.
The Bank of New York Asia ADR index slipped 0.29 points to 154.10, and the bank's China index gave up 1.13 points to 480.71.
