Quite right, quite right.

Almost time for breakfast..

WAKEY WAKEY Socks - there's some bacon on the go here.

Spaceman - 16 Jan 2005 03:30 - 22455 of 23498

Chocolat good to see that I am not the only one up late???

Spaceman - 16 Jan 2005 04:35 - 22456 of 23498

Leaving for the airport in about 45 mins the start of the long trip home. I hate this bit, the only good thing about it is that it makes all other flights seem short !

Should be back online Monday afternoon, I better start getting Lambykins to think about the new place ;-)

Socrates - 16 Jan 2005 08:32 - 22457 of 23498

Chocolat
Bacon at 02:45, you must be kidding. I would be fast asleep, but now it is FEB time and bacon would be a lovely part of it. I'll put the kettle on since there seems to be no staff around.

I might even make a portion or two of Kedgeree if anyone is interested.

As you can probably surmise, I am feeling more like 65 than 70 this morning.

jeffmack - 16 Jan 2005 08:44 - 22458 of 23498

morning socco

Socrates - 16 Jan 2005 08:46 - 22459 of 23498

Good morning Jeff, are you at home?

jeffmack - 16 Jan 2005 09:37 - 22460 of 23498

Yes Socs, got an hours work then I'm free

Spaceman - 16 Jan 2005 09:47 - 22461 of 23498

Um, found a free internet terminal at the airport !

Being a bit of a sad old git I have recently started to play a game with official forms, whenever possible, I try and put completely useless answers in forms. Having now spent the last 20 months without any gainful employment today for the first time I described my normal employment as "n/a" I was tempted to put something like "timber widdler" but being a cowardly sad old git I decided against it, maybe next time.

I have a feeling this could lead to a lot of fun and I am looking for any oppurtunity to give useless information on forms, anyone got any further suggestions?

Obviosly this will only be of interest to bores like me ;-)

optomistic - 16 Jan 2005 09:57 - 22462 of 23498

Morning all,
Bunny is having serious problems with her PC (virus) so next week it could be self service for a while. Always the pot of tea available and a fresh delivery of danish every day. Perhaps Priscilla could drizzle a little more lemon for us?

Socrates - 16 Jan 2005 10:06 - 22463 of 23498

Spaceman
Occupations are fun, you might try "Cordwainer" or "Mantle Maker".

Stockbunny
Get well soon.

chocolat - 16 Jan 2005 10:14 - 22464 of 23498

Gooood morning!

Socks - I know you were asleep...the rumbling from the chair was deafening.

I always have fun with the National Statistics forms, Spacie - those Grimm brothers have got nothing on me... ;)

optomistic - 16 Jan 2005 10:17 - 22465 of 23498

Good morning Choccy, didn't expect to see you around so early after your late night :-)

chocolat - 16 Jan 2005 10:21 - 22466 of 23498

Been blitzing the kitchen for the last couple of hours, opto.. :)

Socrates - 16 Jan 2005 10:26 - 22467 of 23498

Kitchen, what's one of those?

optomistic - 16 Jan 2005 10:30 - 22468 of 23498

Socs, it's where you take your dirty dishes, then someone like Choccy comes along and cleans them all :-))

Socrates - 16 Jan 2005 10:49 - 22469 of 23498

Oh I see, that's why her-indoors calls me old-fashioned I suppose.

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2005 14:47 - 22470 of 23498

Afternoon - Thanks Opto for posting about the problems my usual
computer has got - poor thing, but I've wrapped it in a blanket
and force-fed it some Beechams cold and flu relief so hopefully
it will recover at some point!

Seriously...it's out of use, the virus can't be fixed or removed nor
can the file it has lodged itself in, so I'm on a borrowed laptop for
now awaiting a rebuild when it can be done by a helpful but extremely
busy brother, who could be regretting the day he acquired a 'baby' sister!
;>) I did try various 'stuff' myself to fix it, but out of my depth.

Happy belated Birthday wishes to our Socs!!!
Pop in an order for your favourite lunch and it will be delivered
next week! :>)

Thanks for everyone's concern and good wishes - a pint or glass
of your favourite is on the bar for you all as and when you pop in.
:>)

bunny
How did you get this virus and how are you stopping it next time.
