Oblomov is one holiday. Should be back early next week I think.

Oblo is not one to sulk ...... or skulk for that matter.

We have been trying so long to work that out.
the closest anyone has yet come is Maestro. he claims it is a plot by Anarcho-syndicalists, MI5 and the CIA to provoke financial meltdown by showing that heisenbergs uncertainty principle applies to the stock markets. he thinks. but he's not sure.
Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Given the quality of his flight plans and how closely he stuck to them he has been downgraded to a baggage handler.

Oilywag - 16 Nov 2006 16:48 - 22509 of 27111

Would you let him handle your baggage?

Does you wife know that?

The oily one

hewittalan6 - 16 Nov 2006 16:52 - 22510 of 27111

The wife is my baggage.

Amongst other factors, a lot of institutional investors, merchant bankers (cockney rhyming bit there), brokers, etc have managed to make a fast buck over the last few weeks by buying in low just before the rights issue and then taking up their entitlements at 0.8p. On Monday and Tuesday the sp shot up with all the governmental spin on green issues, recycling and how supermarkets could end global warming if they just stopped overly packaging things. Consequently, a lot of city boys managed to get profits of 100% plus on their SEO holdings. So why did they sell them now? Don't they believe in the company? Maybe, maybe not. The point is, Christmas is looming and so are those bonuses. If they can show their bosses big profits on their books they get a much bigger Christmas bonus.

That, I believe, is part of the answer. But I'm a cynic (but not cynic!).
