MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

"I have never predicted a future price, but a full grown idiot can see that it is a 1 sp as it stands."

I'll flog you as many as you like for 95p tabby ... can't say fairer than that can I , bargain of the year to a full grown idiot who values them at a quid .

Think it over and let me know Monday.

Have a nice weekend.

I think that comment came straight out of the round window. If every price was a correct valuation why have markets, auctions, or bookmakers. its an opinion. a penny is worth a penny.. so sell me a 1933 British penny for face value. I dont think so! Chill out Dil you aint a bad lad but if you give it.. you got take it!!!. Also have a good weekend.

buxted - 15 May 2008 08:23 - 227 of 8631

Dil you still selling at 95p!!!!!!!!

Dil - 15 May 2008 09:22 - 228 of 8631

Yep ... how many you want ?

Dil - 15 May 2008 09:22 - 229 of 8631

Looks like they running out of cash to me.

buxted - 15 May 2008 10:46 - 230 of 8631

I agree doesn't look as promising as some people thought a month ago.... Rose tinted classes

Fred1new - 15 May 2008 13:45 - 231 of 8631

I wish I had some cash. I would buy some more at present price. If you look at present results and projected results, I still think it will be more than 120p within 12 mths. I think they will avoid a cash call.

oilyrag - 15 May 2008 14:01 - 232 of 8631

I jumped on board earlier and am already sitting on a profit.

buxted - 15 May 2008 14:45 - 233 of 8631

Take the profit now b4 it's too late!

oilyrag - 15 May 2008 15:04 - 234 of 8631

No. Fundamentals fine, growth fine, sales increasing, sp drop is a total con and I am sure that my investment was procured towards the bottom end of an over-reactive market drop. I am looking forward to sp returning back to normal in the next few days, and as its a proper cash paid investment with no stop losses attached, I am in total control of its trading and so therefore will not be ripped off. I am under no pressure timewise so can relax and wait to sell when it suits me.

buxted - 15 May 2008 15:15 - 235 of 8631

Good on you mate, that's the way to do it!! I also got in at 48 today but 64 2 weeks ago!!!

can't win them all

halifax - 15 May 2008 15:18 - 236 of 8631

So the CEO of MDX wants to take on IFRS ... tomorrow the world! Perhaps he protesteth too much!!

Dil - 15 May 2008 15:41 - 237 of 8631

lol

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Meldex International Plc, the specialist pharmaceuticals company, hit its full year sales targets on a pro forma basis but under IFRS accounting standards, dubbed by the CEO as 'nonsense', it missed its forecasts significantly.

partridge - 15 May 2008 15:59 - 238 of 8631

Another interesting "profit v cash" scenario. First glance looks OK, but cash outflow 6M from operations suggests to me that Dil is right when he questions availablity of funds. At that rate, overdraft facility 2.7m + cash in hand 2M end of December will be exhausted over next few months if growth rate maintained into 2008.

Dil - 15 May 2008 16:48 - 239 of 8631

Thats probably the reason for the "strategic review" ... do we flog it on the cheap or try to raise more money.

hangon - 15 May 2008 17:18 - 240 of 8631

DYOR
I understand they borrowed a lot of money and issued shares during 2007 ( maybe earlier) to expand the operation.
I don't like "buying turnover" - being an expensive operation which lines Exec pockets as well as hangers-on ( who fix the deals). Issuing shares created dilution - so bad for long-term holders.
+ There is still an on-going "bid process" but whilst this has been very good at boosting sp, it gives shareholders very little of lasting value. Talk of a takeover at something above 1 looks a bit unlikely with the Market reaction today - that's almost 25% off!
Do we believe these figures? Let's hope this is as it is, so no revisions hopefully.
I don't hold this stock.

Dil - 15 May 2008 20:38 - 241 of 8631

With a CEO who describes IFRS accounting rules as "nonesense" who knows what creativity they've been up to with the figures.

What does the CEO think analysts estimates are based on .... IFRS accounting results or his proforma cr*p ???

The guys an idiot imo.

Dil - 15 May 2008 20:39 - 242 of 8631

And where's tabasco today ?

Wishbone - 16 May 2008 09:32 - 243 of 8631

Dil, you really shouldn't be so angry and disparaging.RT thinks the world of you.

Dil - 16 May 2008 09:44 - 244 of 8631
