Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Isn't Athens the place where the soldiers wear frocks? I seem to recall seeing a news clip when one banged his rifle on the ground and it fell to pieces.

yes that's the best thing to go and see outside the government building, its like Monty Python.

It's raining!

Spaceman - 05 Oct 2009 08:59 - 2256 of 4886

Agreed.

Socrates - 05 Oct 2009 09:18 - 2257 of 4886

Unlike the rest of the UK, down here in Thanet, we have not had any real rain for several months. Almost a drought.

kimoldfield - 05 Oct 2009 09:19 - 2258 of 4886

Not here! The lawns are dying, shrubs, flowers etc. I wouldn't mind if we had sunshine all day but we haven't had much at all. :o(

Socrates - 05 Oct 2009 10:01 - 2259 of 4886

Your turn will come, Kim.

kimoldfield - 05 Oct 2009 10:10 - 2260 of 4886

Thanks! :o)

KEAYDIAN - 06 Oct 2009 12:16 - 2261 of 4886

Socrates - 06 Oct 2009 13:35 - 2263 of 4886

stockbunny - 06 Oct 2009 15:58 - 2264 of 4886

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2009 21:41 - 2265 of 4886

Did I miss breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea? (sweep, sweep, sneeze sneeze, sweep sweep).

Yessss! Rain! It's rained more today than in the last 3 months. One extreme to the other eh?!

Socrates - 07 Oct 2009 08:05 - 2266 of 4886

Oh, must pop out today, got to pay the council (robbery) tax.

kimoldfield - 07 Oct 2009 08:25 - 2267 of 4886

The sun is shining again!

I have no objection whatsoever in paying my council tax. It is the amount I object to! :o) As you say Soco, robbery.

stockbunny - 07 Oct 2009 11:53 - 2268 of 4886

Amen to that people!
Lunch today will be grilled gammon steaks with pineapple ring, rice and peas and /or mashed tatties and cauli cheese :>)

kimoldfield - 07 Oct 2009 12:39 - 2269 of 4886

Good af'noon Bunny. May I have the grilled gammon steaks with pineapple ring, rice and peas, with a blob of mashed tatties, just enough to fill the hole in the pineapple ring, please?

stockbunny - 07 Oct 2009 12:41 - 2270 of 4886

Yes.......(mass concentration with teaspoon of mash delicately filling middle....)

Nearly done.........
