On thursday you forecast sub 1p.
Now you promote the opposite view.
Which is it?

Tony / greekman - Even though UBS may have made 60% or so out of these recent transactions, do you really believe that all of that will wend its way to their clients ?
How on earth do the bonuses get paid ? Not by being philanthropic or equitable that's for sure !

Clients of UBS AG, will probably be quite satisfied with a profit of approx 60% within 9 days.
Companies such as UBS AG, don't take the blue sky or bust risks that we small time private investors sometimes take.
I presume most of you have several such type shares, (I have 5 in total of a portfolio of 9). If 1 makes say 400% profit in 2 years and the other 4 go bust I am even,
Why not just stick it in a high interest return account? No anxiety and 5% better than even.

Where did I suggest a gain of 0.6 million would reach clients or anyone specific?
But I did say that Xmas bonuses might be increased.
Read back - then tell us all if I said otherwise, or that someone is fantacising.
It would be interesting to know which.

Interesting article on the BBC news this morning, have a listen when you all rise !
"The Gov'n is under pressure to bring in a tax on all products produced that need a landfill site to be disposed of, this will bring us in line with Germany, Sweden and many other countries. Items such as, raxor blades, cameras and cartons"
Think we pay enough tax, but right behind this one !!!!!!

Bristles I quite agree. Should have any modern hospitals. Should have kept the good old workhouses for the lazy old buggers.

Tony,
No-one stated that and I certainly wasn't inferring that anyone had.
I was asking a rhetorical question and my phrasiology should have made that clear by using "I doubt anyone ..." rather than "Do you ....".
Apologies if I tweaked a ganglion.

zscrooge,
Re your comment Why not just stick it in a high interest return account? No anxiety and 5% better than even.
I was just stating a point.
My portfolio as I said is spread between SEO type shares and blue chip (my other 4), so a portion is that big gamble. I also have cash in a high interest account.
The thing is I don't find money sitting in such accounts as interesting (if you see what I mean).
nyleve,
Following on from your post, saw that Tetrapak was one company whose products were highlighted.
One of the targeted products would be the Tetra Pak carton. More than 2 billion are produced in the UK each year and the report states they can be difficult to recycle because they are often made of layers of cardboard, plastic and foil.

No, when I started getting interested in buying shares 3 years ago, I did well with ASOS, buying at 10p. I could not make up my mind which to go for next, looking at both SEO and BPRG - I made the wrong choice - well, so far !
E.K. isn't doing too well with his short on BPRG is he ?
I just hold 6 different shares, so only dabble in a small way.

On the subject of 5% in the bank.
Late last year i was approched by a company who trade in Forex markets and they sent me information the company checked out. After speaking to them several times and having a good year, i decided to send them just 2k to invest for me, to see how they get on my idea was to give them one year, they claimed but could not garentee 10% per month. After messing about a few weeks setting up the Forex trading account they started in mid Dec05.
Since then they have ave 13.2% the best was 29.1% the werst (last month) 7.3% total 534% so far. If your brokers can trade Forex for you may be worth giving them a small amount to see how they get on.
