Still Waiting

The chart for this stock says it all.
The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.
The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.
The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.
With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.
MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Sorry, I along with the others who were there, posted our thoughts on the ADVFN board. http://www.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=2594169
If you have any problems, please ask and I'll paste it across. Hanglider, sdavis, Anval and Manveru were also there.

For those that have read this elsewhere, I'm very sorry. Posters have been identified.
(Hanglider) Ok ladies and gents, a brief synopsis from the AGM. A total of 21 people there, 7 board members, (1 ex), and 14 others. Of the 14 others, at least a few were associated with the press, and I believe there was a representative from Billam. ( I spoke to one other ADVFNer there, ironnick although he posts very infrequently.) The board was pressed more than once with regards to investor relations and I believe one attendee who stated he was a shareholder and journalist was going to speak to N.J offline with some suggestions. N.J/R.H stated that they can't communicate with individual shareholders, (we all know that,) and their preferred method of communication was through posting news on the website. With regards to KBC it was stated that they are an instutional broker and as such they only supply info to the institutions.
With regards to the share price N.J commented that he thought the fall was more to do with the sector/Aim shares than failings of the company and he hoped that this would improve through the company proving themselves to the city. R.H stated that he didn't want to set a precedent by issuing an RNS as doing so would mean an RNS every time the price changed significantly. The board also stated that they had no prior knowledge of the Billam statement.
I posed the question to N.J with regards to the sectors consolidation and specifically the Independant article on MPS. N.J stated that they were of course always vigilant to potential takeover opportunities but he did not expand on the MPS front. In fact I got the distinct impression that they would prefer to wait and hopefully pick up MPS customers on the cheap if and when MPS goes belly up!
There was no specific expansion on the RNS re N.U this morning although it seemed like there would be further news coming forth.
ironnick and I managed to talk to R.H/N.J & J.W after the meeting. (The AGM was all wrapped up in 45 mins.) My personal impression was that everything was ticking along very nicely. It would also seem that we have a very prudent board. They are not investing heavily in Europe in fact the complete opposite. All contracts that are being entered into by CYH are cash generative. CYH do not give out free trials. Europe will be entered into as and when opportunities present themselves.
My overall impression was that we have a very good leadership team looking after our company and that it is in very safe hands. CYH are winning business (and retaining business,) based on their customer care. Their view is the customer is king! (R.H was pressed on whether or not the CYH product was superior. His answer was along the lines of that the CYH package rather than the product was what gave them their competetive advantage.
I've probably missed loads out and if I have, could either sdavis or ironnick pick me up on it. I'll be online this evening so if anyone has any questions please fire away. (D.T please don't bother, this excludes you.)
(Hanglider) One item, that I forgot to mention was that someone asked for clarification on the new accounting procedures. I think we all know where we are with that but interestingly K.L (finance director,) stated that these were actually already adopted and applied to the 4th quarter earnings. So to some extent were partially in the full years results.
(sdavis) Good summary by u, so thanks for the time it took.
I echo your observations about prudence, conservatism etc.
Of the attendees not at the top table, 2 were PR and 2 auditors. Nice bunch though.
Also sounds to me like they will not sacrifice too much t/over on the alter of "own book" which is pleasing as this means next years t/over will not be shot to pieces by the accounting change.
(Anval) Although i did not get the chance to identify myself to the other B/B posters at the AGM, I will agree with the reports that have been posted by them, and for those who did attend i was the person who was pressing the board (second row from front blue jacket) on news flow for shareholders as well as the gentleman sitting in front of me in the front row, as has been mentioned, i did state that over previuos years we have had broker news at least twice per year, but as this has now stopped shareholders get very little info, and has been stated, this has been taken on board and hope that we will see improvement on that topic.
The signals that i was getting from the meeting was that we have NOTHING to get concerned about over the lower share price, the indications i was getting was that we have plenty of further good news in the pipeline.
As i have said most items have been covered by the other posters.
(Ironnick) Sorry about the delay in updating you, but Connex had a particularly bad time of it through London Bridge yesterday PM and evening.
There is little else I can add to Hangliders, sdavis, Anval and Manveru's informative and correct posts. They have reported the AGM just as I saw it as well. One thing that hasn't been covered is quite how prudent the board is. RH, NJ and in particular KL would make the Chancellor, Gordon Brown, look like a flamboyant playboy in their dealings with the company finances. I would echo the comments made by Hanglider in respect of acquisitions. I spoke at length with RH and as a result am very comfortable with the current outlook. I will be a holder for the long term (two plus years). He said the current share price was as a result of the current state of this sector of the market and sentiment towards it. He said that the board would be looking at communicating broker information to share holders, but with so many private holders it was clearly not feasible to do so on an individual basis. The brokers that are in place are institutional brokers, and the majority of share holders, by and large now reflect this. He did mention to Hanglider and myself that the quality and type of questions he did get asked (by email I presume) was remarkably similar to some of the more puerile postings on this board. (Both he and his pa look in here from time to time, so he is well aware of some of the frustrations we have). Some of the other board members I spoke to are equally frustrated with the depressed share price, like some of us, they are sitting on paper losses. No one I spoke to would comment on where they expect the share price to be at the end of the year, but my own feeling is that it will be back nearer to 3pand double that by the end of 2005. No on would comment on anything in the pipeline.
Sorry its long winded, but the others have covered the rest.

Thanks for that, it really confirms what i thought that this one for the future. Lets hope we see some good deals over the next 12-18 months. I am shocked by the volume of business every day for such a small company, which is clearly one for the future. But too many short sighted sellers out there.

The recent BUY at 1.62 of 500k shares was actually a SELL. Sorry guys, emergency cash needs for house repairs, however the MM's really do want your shares, i wouldn't have sold if I hadn't had to and still hold 500k long term

Has anyone else seen the write up for CybIT in the Aim & Offex Newsletter (Page 8, Issue 104, Aug 2004)? Just got in and am about to digest it. There's also a buy recommendation for Billam!

Briefly from page 1: The NAV for Billam has fallen 12.9p, over a year, they say due to the performance not being reflected in CybIT's share price. They reckon CybIT is due a re-rating. Billam is rated a buy.
From page 8 (The CybIT bit): There is a fairly comprehensive write up about the company and its products, as well as the financial bits and partners.
Briefly, company budgets are expanding again, so it's a good time to look at their (CybIT's) sector. CybIT's products will form significant revenue streams in the future.
KBC Peel Hunt forecasts revenues of 8.3m and a loss 0.7m because of a change in the revenue recognition policy, which will ultimately lead to greater underlying profitability and cash generation (long term). For 2006 sales expectations are 12.5m and profits of 0.1m (sounds a bit conservative to me).
That's about it, I think. For the full Monty try www.redskyresearch.com they have a free trial bit, as far as I can remember.
Sorry, I won't paste. It's a bit unethical and unfair to other subscribers.

Sunday paper write up,
The Business
VEHICLE telematics business Cybit Holdings creates systems for satellite navigation, fleet management and mobile workforce tracking. Last year it moved into the black and is slowly expanding into Europe, winning a first contract in Germany. Buying now at 1.52p could reap long-term rewards.
