someone on one of the other boards keeps on spouting on about "lots of AT buys in the pipeline" - and just now " a big buy order just in".
Is there any way that someone would know what was in the pipeline or if a big buy order had arrived - especially as as soon as he said the latter, the price dropped ??
Any one know?

Bhunt,
Looking at level 2 sometimes you can see a trend starting to form, but it usually has to be fairly obvious.
Looking at L2 at the moment, no one appears that interested in buying or selling.
Can't see how anyone, except a Market Maker or Broker with a big order to fill can have any idea, re "Lots of AT buys in the pipeline". And then they would have to be putting them through the order book, and looking at a possible matching sell price already there.

Well done 700202; not bad for a 36 y.o.! Well-timed buy, well timed sell, another well timed buy? Time will tell but I suspect you are right taking a 12 week view rather than another short-term trade. The lack of posts today suggests that most are off until after the new year. I suspect it will be wise to forget the rumours; we are now in a different dispensation!

Hey All,
Just got back from some serious travelling through Central America and USA, was awesome! Have just trawled through the last three months worth of posts and news and trying to educate myself over the protocols and workings of EGMs and the buy one share get one share free that went on at roughly the same time. I brought in back in April and consequently sold out at a small loss just before the landslide, Few! and am gonna tread water for a bit and see what happens before I look to reinvest now that the company has the same potential at an astronomically lower price.
Just one big question though. I read a couple of peoples posts about the chance that SEO could be bunked of the FTSE in the new year due to its poor performance. My question is, is there any substance to this statement, and if so, how does that effect have on the private or indeed a corporate investor? I.e. if I invested now and trading ceased, is ones investments lost?
Heres to a 2007 like 700202 last month!!!
Hunty!

(Hi, I met you on the first 'Avon Motor Tour of Britain' rally/race in 1972ish which you won, and I only could only win my class and team prize). Nice talking to a ghost!!
The talk was of coming off the FTSE Small Caps Index - not the main LSE. Although I can imagine exDirectors preferring to have operated under the more liberal AIM set-up.
The immediate effect of such a happening would be a sell off by the Small Caps Tracker Funds - but from memory when SEO entered the Index about 2 years ago there was not a massive buying spree.
I discount the rumours, but I am famed for being very relaxed - and often wrong!

Tony,
So these Small Caps Tracker Funds. Are they owned by larger institutions and would they be informed at the same time as everyone else through the issue of an RNS?

In other words, if we were on the ball we could see it coming and sell out at the appropriate time?

Re the presentation.
Short it was, but the best bit to my mind was that WALMART were mentioned as the end product receiver.
I know SEO drop plenty of clangers but surely they would have required the permission of WALMART in order to release their name, in the presentation.
