kimoldfield - 30 Aug 2008 07:39 - 22617 of 24230

(A few hours ago..................................slip, slip, rattle, crunch) Yes! changed gear, up the hill we go! (Puff, puff, pant, gasp) Phew, that was hard work. I think I'll just nip into this pub for a pint, thirsty work don't you know?! Afternoon, a pint of your best draught bitter please. Mmm Badger ale, very nice (slurp, slurp, gulp) That was good, another pint please (slurp, slurp, gulp). Ahh, that's better. Well, must be off, KEAYDIAN will be wondering where his bike has gone haha! (Opens door, gawps in horror) The bike! Where is it?!!! I left it here: excuse me, have you seen a new bike here? WHAT?!!! Which way did he go? Oh hell, now what am I going to do?!

Socrates - 01 Sep 2008 07:45 - 22618 of 24230

You've been done! That bike has no gears, and no pedals either.

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 08:29 - 22619 of 24230

(A few hours less than a few hours ago but still a few hours ago....er, if you see what I mean......) I'll walk back and let KEAYDIAN know the bad news. (Trudge, trudge) Hang on! there's the bike leaning against the wall!!! I'll take the gears and pedals and brake blocks off so no one can ride off on it! OK, job done, I'll just sit in this cafe having a coffee and wait for the thief to come back, then I'll have him!

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 08:30 - 22620 of 24230

Present time. Hmm I've sat here long enough, maybe the thief isn't going to come. Better get the bike back to KEAYDIAN. There, that's the pedals and gears back on. Here we go.

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 08:31 - 22621 of 24230

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 08:31 - 22622 of 24230

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 08:34 - 22623 of 24230

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 08:36 - 22624 of 24230

There's Lambykins Cafe (Whizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

Spaceman - 01 Sep 2008 08:43 - 22625 of 24230

morning all, good to see the met office doing a great job, they got the weather completely wrong in Hastings for the weekend.

Any chance of a warm danish?

KEAYDIAN - 01 Sep 2008 08:56 - 22626 of 24230

Morning all, did anybody see that blur go past outside about 20 mins ago.

Socrates - 01 Sep 2008 09:03 - 22627 of 24230

I saw nothing, was it Tony Blur?

Breakfast is ready, heart attack on a plate.

I've just been looking at the HMRC self assessment web site, I might just have a go at that.

KEAYDIAN - 01 Sep 2008 09:08 - 22628 of 24230

Hmmm, I think it was Kim, He went past to fast to hear what he was saying. Something about knock, locks or blocks.

Oh well, never mind.

Socrates - 01 Sep 2008 09:26 - 22629 of 24230

I thought it was rowlocks he was saying, although what the connection between boating and cycling is, beats me.

KEAYDIAN - 01 Sep 2008 09:31 - 22630 of 24230

Me too.

One lump or two Socs?

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 09:32 - 22631 of 24230

(Zooooooooooooooooom) I must be doing at least 90mph down this hill. Oh, oh! There's the river. If I could just lean over enough to get me round that last bend and not clip the curb, I should be alright. It's uphill again after that. (Lean, screechy tyres, slither) Gulp. I'm nearly round it! Yessss, I've done it! (clip) Noooooo! Ayeeeeee! (Splash, sink like a stone).Phfft, spffff, gasp, made it the bank. But the bike's gone. (Deep gloom)

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 09:41 - 22632 of 24230

I'll get this fella with a rowing boat to row me back out, see if I can locate the bike. Excuse me, can you row me to the middle. Oh, why not?, I'll pay you know. What's that? Someone's stole your rowlocks? Oh, that's bad luck.

kimoldfield - 01 Sep 2008 10:45 - 22633 of 24230

(Splosh, splosh) Morning. Coffee and a Danish please. Here you are KEAYDIAN, brake blocks, err, I took them off the bike because it's having a wash at the moment, didn't want to get them wet.

KEAYDIAN - 01 Sep 2008 11:04 - 22634 of 24230

Awfully kind of you old bean.

Hope the bike is ready for my 1pm bike ride today.
