Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Or bananas.

markets are strong on the back of exceptional house building numbers in usa, though the strong likelihood of "in" carrying the day will also have settled some nerves

amazed that none of you seem to trade shares any more, but just insults

I'm begining to think that the Tory remainer's v Tory Leaver's is just
a ploy to try and fool the voting public that there is an opposition to
the EU..

The Tory Leavers response to most of the Tory remainer's claims have
had very weak or no response.

I believe the Leave voters are being betrayed and let down by the Tory led
Leaver's.

It's unnerving to think that we are being taken through a staged event .With far reaching actors .

MaxK - 25 May 2016 08:06 - 2277 of 12628

I know of two people who will vote in, that's all, and I know a fair number of people.

It must be something in the water.

Don’t trust Blair on the EU
Tony Blair has made an intervention in the referendum debate to call on the UK to stay in the EU. However, his record on this issue is abysmal.
He was responsible for giving away money and power to Brussels and led the campaign to scrap the pound. As recently as 2011, he still maintained that Britain should join the euro, which would have been disastrous for our economy.
He signed the UK up to the Charter of Fundamental Rights which gave unelected EU judges more power over UK law. He promised us a referendum before handing more powers to the EU, but then agreed to the Lisbon Treaty without giving people the vote. Nothing has changed - he can’t be trusted.

It seems to me that the remain camp are just pulling any old figures out of a hat about exiting the EU !.....to them it's all about money....they don't give a damn that the country will be overrun with dodgy people from god knows where : they have a very short term view with just greed in mind.....if we exit : then we have control over our borders for ever !.....is trade with our European partners going to stop just because we don't have a seat in the European parliament ?...of course not.....scaremongering people into voting for the status quo in fact ....

Former military top brass say EU has become 'intrusive' and 'out of control'
They reject the idea Brexit would have a negative impact on UK's defence
