The equator is a menagerie lion running round the middle of the earth.

Golddog - 20 Jan 2005 23:30 - 22766 of 23498

Everyone seems to be going to bed, so goodnight one and all, and all for one.

Ghosty: night poochy.
Poochy: night ghosty. x

Socrates - 20 Jan 2005 23:31 - 22767 of 23498

Goodnight Goldie.

Since it is late there is perhaps time for a slightly risque joke, just hang around whilst I type it up, back in a mo.

Socrates - 20 Jan 2005 23:38 - 22768 of 23498

Just before Christmas, hubby came home and asked his wife what she had done that day.

She replied, "I had sex with the milkman, gave him 50p and then fed him a slap-up breakfast".

"Good heavens" said hubby, "whatever possessed you to do that?"

"Well", said wifey, "when I asked you what to give the milkman for his Christmas Box, you said f**k the milkman, give him 50p." "The breakfast was my idea".

Socrates - 20 Jan 2005 23:44 - 22769 of 23498

Time now for me to retire, to bed that is. See you all on the morrow. Goodnight.

jj50 - 21 Jan 2005 08:18 - 22770 of 23498

Morning all. Coffee brewing, fresh croissants/pain au chocolat on the bar.

Busy in here last night - I thought GDs little friend
would be called Claudia not Ghosty :-)

daves dazzlers - 21 Jan 2005 08:55 - 22771 of 23498

Tea please,!!!!!!!and where`s my bag?

optomistic - 21 Jan 2005 12:11 - 22772 of 23498

Cafe closed today?

This_is_me - 21 Jan 2005 13:19 - 22773 of 23498

Yes - food inspectors found mice.

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 13:22 - 22774 of 23498

Hopefully not Opto - but there again we could have had the
environmental health people round again - they were slightly
concerned about a couple of things last time - like Socs storing
his trifle in buckets and Poochy storing his half-chewed bones
in the fridge.
;>)

OK - fire's lit - it's damn cold out there people!!
Coffee and tea on, bar fully stocked, ovens on,
some light music playing for background interest,
I think we're ready for business!!! :>)

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 13:23 - 22775 of 23498

Ah T-I-M and what can I get you Sir?
That's legal and above board and non-offensive to us animals?
:>)

This_is_me - 21 Jan 2005 13:36 - 22776 of 23498

Rabbit

food - I am still trying to get the lbs. that I put on over Christmas off.

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 13:43 - 22777 of 23498

LOL T-I-M
OK lets drum you up a low calorie and hopefully high taste
lunch......

A selection of different leaves - watercress, spinach, rocket
for some peppery taste....
cherry tomatoes cos they are sweet!
some fresh chopped basil that we grow on the window sill...
tiny drizzle of olive oil with a little crushed garlic in it...
a little thinly sliced yellow pepper as it looks pretty,
and ideally either tuna or salmon really or cottage cheese
as that's low calorie or maybe a little diced cooked chicken?

optomistic - 21 Jan 2005 13:47 - 22778 of 23498

Now we are open could I have a pot of tea and a danish please? Don't think I fancy leaves today.

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 14:05 - 22779 of 23498

Well in that case how about a bowl of freshly home-made
chicken and veggie soup Opto? May warm you up more then tea..
It's even cold down here, so goodness knows how cold it is
North of perverbial Watford! :>)

YO!! T-I-M!! You can always have the soup you know, shifting
pounds doesn't mean you have to eat salads only...

:>)

optomistic - 21 Jan 2005 14:11 - 22780 of 23498

Sounds warming, yes please Bunny :-)

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 14:13 - 22781 of 23498

Ok served with a fresh bread roll and large grin! :>)
Danish to follow if you have space......

I've obviously frightened T-I-M to death - too much in the leaf
dept. probably.............
;>)

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 14:37 - 22782 of 23498

Any chance of some haddock fish fingers please?

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 14:40 - 22783 of 23498

Certainly Spacie - with chips and salad, just salad, or
with baked beans or coleslaw? Or the lot of you're feeling
adventurous! :>)

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 14:43 - 22784 of 23498

just white bread and tomatoe ketchup please. Maybe a little salad as a side dish...
