Interesting that bunny identified her mouse as a 'he'. Spacey, have you checked the girlfriend's make-up bag and her lotions and potions shelves? Is anything missing? At least then you might be able to 'profile' your intruder as to sexual orientation. This would allow you to focus your hunt more intelligently, ie if it's a girl mouse it won't be living in a tool-box but in a box of chocolates. Ask yourself, why did the mouse chose me and not the girlfriend?

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 16:06 - 22801 of 23498

P, well I haven't done that but we are pretty sure that it was inside her hat in a back we brought down from Sevenoaks.

Following your idea I think I will assume its a girl mouse and move the ironing board into the kitchen, if that fails I will try the garage and my collection of half empty paint tins and car parts for cars we don't have any more ;-)

jj50 - 21 Jan 2005 16:08 - 22802 of 23498

Is this the mouse helpline? :-))

Have you checked the toaster - I was living in Brussels many years ago in a
rented flat. Put in the slice of toast and two seconds later, out flew
a half cooked mouse!!!!!!!!!! Tom and Jerry moment.

The mouse I have at the moment leaves 3/4 little droppings every night!
I am sure he comes in the back of sink cupboard at night and goes
out during day!

Priscilla - 21 Jan 2005 16:13 - 22803 of 23498

I can see why you might be more comfortable with the idea this is a 'girly' mouse, just looking for a strong man to snuggle up to at night. It's quite sweet really. And two 'females' wanting to share your bed at once! Some men pay a lot of money for that.

But if it's a hairy-arsed, unwashed rodent who's just climbed into bed with you after a night on a lager and kebab night out with his mates who suddenly found you attractive......

I think you may have my ex-husband somewhere in your house!

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 16:16 - 22804 of 23498

jj, did you put it back in the toaster till it was done properly ;-)

P ;-)

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 16:17 - 22805 of 23498

HI Priscilla and JJ!!!
Oh JJ - a mouse IN the toaster! Now that would have even startled
me and I'm used to finding the odd unwanted house guest of the
tiny and furry variety!
OK gals - anyone for a glass of wine :>)

Oh YUCK Spacie!

Priscilla - 21 Jan 2005 16:18 - 22806 of 23498

Yes, please bun!

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 16:20 - 22807 of 23498

Any some lemon drizzle cake available??

jj50 - 21 Jan 2005 16:25 - 22808 of 23498

Sounds a good idea, Spaceman ......... have you been
baking P? Can't Lambykins do something about your
pal?

I see the cafe is closing on the 31st :-(

What is the new cafe to be called - "In Orbit" because you and Lambykins
are normally spaced out :-))

Priscilla - 21 Jan 2005 16:29 - 22809 of 23498

No baking this afternoon, so I have a large tub of 'Dusty Road' ice cream. Chocolate ice cream with toffee sauce, bits of meringue and small bites of macaroons to dip in the ice cream or toffee sauce....which is warm, of course! A tub large enough to lose lamby in, so be careful there, Spacey! Enjoy.

jj50 - 21 Jan 2005 16:33 - 22810 of 23498

Is Dusty Road a refined version of Rocky Road, P?

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 16:38 - 22811 of 23498

JJ, I still like "Lambykins Dutch Coffee house - Adults only" I know GD doesn't like the Adults Only bit but I have a plan for that !

Anyway as I am only going to be a small part of the new place I would love to hear what you all want. I don't want to change things as this place seems pretty good as it is, I am only getting involved as GD is retiring ;-) it will be your place not mine.

Here are a few of my thoughts, but I expect a few 'Concorde Method' influences to find their way in :-

Free Drinks at all times
No drugs other that soft drugs
No rules.
No abuse.
Wide Screen TV

Hopefully Stock bunny will continue to provide us with her excellent daily choice of food and Priscilla will be able to provide cakes etc from time to time as well as all the other things the regulars here do.

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 16:42 - 22812 of 23498

Sounds OK to me - can't see a problem with the adults bit
it might get a few more pop in, if only for curiosity sake
BUT I refuse to let our fluffy pink cushions go or our purple
faux fur throws for when the guys aren't here and we want to make the
chesterfields look a little more comfy
;>)

stockbunny - 21 Jan 2005 16:49 - 22813 of 23498

OK I'm outta here - have a great evening all
and enjoy yourselves whatever you are doing!!
;>)

Greystone - 21 Jan 2005 17:03 - 22814 of 23498

Thanks for a great week of trading everybody. Time for some relaxing music and cool wine.

Have a good weekend!

Alan

jj50 - 21 Jan 2005 17:05 - 22815 of 23498

Spaceman - LDCH - Adults only sounds great!

Have a good week-end, Bunny and hang on to those
style items of fluffy cushions and faux fur throws!!!!!!!!

Spaceman - 21 Jan 2005 17:13 - 22816 of 23498

Well when I suggested no rules I actually meant a few rules, specifically :-

No Mice
Bunnies and Lambs welcome at all times
No food items which include Lamb or Rabbit allowed on the premises
No Mice
Mice not allowed
No Mice

Thats it, I think .....

And of course all the soft furnishings are being brought over from the tea rooms ;-)

Socrates - 21 Jan 2005 17:28 - 22817 of 23498

Spacie
I really don't think you should refer to the ladies as "soft furnishings".

Big Al - 21 Jan 2005 17:33 - 22818 of 23498

Evening!

Haven't been here for a we bit - far too busy!! 679 posts since I last had a chance to pop in - don't worry, I've not read a single one. ;-))

Weekend chilling time approaches so I'll take whatever's going and head out with the dogs.

Socrates - 21 Jan 2005 17:42 - 22819 of 23498

Big Al
Chilling time quite literally, it is going to be cold according to my piece of seaweed.
