jeffmack - 12 Sep 2008 11:07 - 22813 of 24230

Spacie
In London Monday so as long as I get home today I am happy. Friend just called from Brussels airport and said it is chaos there.

stockbunny - 12 Sep 2008 12:04 - 22814 of 24230

Hope you get home OK Jeffie, it's all a mucking fuddle isn't it? I assume you don't have to head west or east by bus when you get to London, cos the drivers are on strike just to add an additional challenge!

kimoldfield - 12 Sep 2008 12:22 - 22815 of 24230

Daughters 1 & 3 are flying in from Sardinia to Liverpool and New York to Heathrow during the next 24 hours, there shouldn't be a problem with their flights though.

Mayor's Thames Festival this weekend, so my wife and I will be scoffing all sorts of food on Southwark Bridge. Going to miss the firework display on Sunday though, have to be back in the Vale of Clwyd by evening :o(

Light lunch I think, in readiness for the stomach abuse tomorrow. Mmm. I'll just put this Danish on my table here whilst a get myself a coffee.

KEAYDIAN - 12 Sep 2008 13:42 - 22816 of 24230

(honk honk)

(Woooooooooooooosh, gulp, wooooooooooosh)

kimoldfield - 12 Sep 2008 13:56 - 22817 of 24230

Ahh, nothing like the smell of freshly roast coffee, it'll go down well with my Dan.............
hey! Where's my Danish gone? Hmm, tyre tracks, a perfect circle round my table, and a little trail of crumbs leading off into the distance. (Sigh) well, nothing else for it, a steak at The Green Door it is then.

KEAYDIAN - 12 Sep 2008 14:21 - 22818 of 24230

(honk ding ding ding honk)

Spaceman - 15 Sep 2008 08:45 - 22819 of 24230

This_is_me - 15 Sep 2008 09:28 - 22820 of 24230

Socrates - 15 Sep 2008 11:08 - 22821 of 24230

I've got some Lehman Sausages, large but no substance. Not recommended.

kimoldfield - 15 Sep 2008 11:33 - 22822 of 24230

Start cooking those and we will Merrilly Lynch you.

This_is_me - 15 Sep 2008 11:39 - 22823 of 24230

There is plenty of red sauce about and dogs to make a hot dog.

KEAYDIAN - 15 Sep 2008 11:57 - 22824 of 24230

I'm still waiting by Guinness (honk honk)

kimoldfield - 15 Sep 2008 17:03 - 22825 of 24230

I think I could do with a pint or two or three of Guinness now!

KEAYDIAN - 15 Sep 2008 17:09 - 22826 of 24230

You join the queue. I was waiting first.

kimoldfield - 15 Sep 2008 17:12 - 22827 of 24230

It's a very short queue.

kimoldfield - 15 Sep 2008 17:14 - 22828 of 24230

If you moved your bike, it would be even shorter.

KEAYDIAN - 15 Sep 2008 17:18 - 22829 of 24230

Billy the Bike was waiting before me, you ask him to move.

kimoldfield - 15 Sep 2008 17:26 - 22830 of 24230

Billy, shift your um, er, seat.

stockbunny - 16 Sep 2008 11:04 - 22831 of 24230

Morning binned the above mentioned sausages and cooked some traditional pork baggers - available now in a bun and don't push cos there's enough to go round even Keaydian ;>)
