What happened to your firing pin then, mg?

mg - 09 Dec 2004 09:41 - 2301 of 11056

Unfortunately it has fired. [EDIT and the stop has fired as well -25 so much for careful trading]

You were living dangerously you little hot roller - could have been +40 or -40 - those fingers must have been smoking ;)

Bobcolby - 09 Dec 2004 09:43 - 2302 of 11056

Gone long @173 on cable

Maggot - 09 Dec 2004 09:47 - 2303 of 11056

Japanese PM says the weak dollar is 'undesirable'. He wonders whether intervention is proper.

That looks to me like a clear warning.

edit. Short Cable 178.

mg - 09 Dec 2004 09:48 - 2304 of 11056

Maggot - 09 Dec 2004 10:06 - 2307 of 11056

Trailing stop hit on short at 71 for +7. Your longs are now nicely in profit.

Still think it's a long-term short.

mg - 09 Dec 2004 10:07 - 2308 of 11056

Recouped my 19191 loss and closed. Will now transfer my allegiance to the BPRG thread - a much safer place ;)

chocolat - 09 Dec 2004 10:10 - 2309 of 11056

Just double checked the P/L and im in the red for this week.. Not by much so tomorrow could turn it around.. Gunna need some prodding in the right direction in the morning..

See you then guys..

hodgins - 09 Dec 2004 23:40 - 2314 of 11056

long term bull but Euro short via sb from just above 3325 after the sharpish rise earlier this evening.
It seems to be knocking hard on uptrend supports on daily, hourly and five minutes and under the very recent short term downtrends on all of these as well.
Also getting below recent horizontal support and making lower highs.
Anyone want to knock this argument out of the water for now?

Tellon - 10 Dec 2004 07:08 - 2315 of 11056

I agree.. This morning it still looks short to me. Euro and Sterling..

There is support at 1.3190 on the Euro and 1.9100 on cable.

Most Bank Forecasts are lower to these levels then chance of reversal. I would say 75% Short 25% Long on the Strategy/Forecasts. Although 90% Short to these levels and out 10% break through.. to lower levels.

Sit on hands time for the next 30mins or so... See what happens as traders get to work.

Euro sitting on horizontal support, IF it goes any further, there could be quite a lot of space below for now?

Tellon - 10 Dec 2004 07:36 - 2318 of 11056

Not sure yet... :/
