Jarvis says to book 6.5 mln stg tax refund in FY results


Tax refunds
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Jarvis PLC said it has agreed with UK Revenue
and Customs to amended corporation tax returns for the years 2000, 2001 and 2002
that will lead to a total tax refund of about 6.5 mln stg.
The repayment of tax and interest, the result of a change in tax legislation
in 2007, is expected to be made in full by the end of February.
The company said the refund will be reflected in its financial results for
the year to March 31.
