ukbambammatt - 11 Jan 2005 00:12 - 230 of 451

Biffa,

I think and I may be wrong....but DB have obviously got these for someone else. A there is no reason to buy and sell so quickly and B the price would have gone tits up if they had just sold them. In my opinion, something else is brewing and I am more than convinced it is very positive. Somwone knows something and by the time we know, this price will be a thing of the past. I think single figures goodbye, double figures hello. What are your view Biffa, or anyone else?

We are here to help and share our views.

llewellyn - 11 Jan 2005 19:27 - 231 of 451

that would be very nice news if that is the case ukbambammatt, however they still got the bluesky deal too sale???????????????????????

biffa18 - 11 Jan 2005 23:04 - 232 of 451

i see that BP according to their web site still have 24% of bluesky so these ideas/rumours of BP involvment could be true ! i have sent email to BP to see if they can confirm this holding , BP say that they want to increase there exposure in china so fto would possibly be a safe way of increasing this , but with the amount of shares moved by the bank you would expect a rns about a increase in percentage holding in the near future
Also i wonder if the bank moved the options as well or still hold
But if BP did get involved now that would shift the sp a tad

llewellyn - 12 Jan 2005 17:34 - 233 of 451

you are not kidding biffa, however there was 3.5 millon shares sold today??any idea why????

biffa18 - 12 Jan 2005 23:45 - 234 of 451

to me they were mostly buys as price was moved about obv to try and cover wot they were ,l2 & price held firm also if they were sold they wasnt to a private investor i wouldnt think ,bp confirmed to me that they held 24% of bluesky still but would not comment on any holdings in fto its self
i still expect a rns sometime soon on where those shares have gone ,also we are in the option period so would not expect any push upwards at the moment to any great extent

ukbambammatt - 13 Jan 2005 00:39 - 235 of 451

this is brewing.....watch for DB to activate their options quickly. If they do in the next week. I expect 12p+ rapido!!!! Well Done Biffa on the research. You obviously spend a bit of time doing research sat in the old chair, do you get time for a bit of excercise. I read something about guys who spend too much time in the office ending up weighing 15stone + , please tell me you do some excercise Biffa and dont just watch the shares for our benifit. We wish you all the best Biffa....our little star on the thread!!! Good luck everyone.....

llewellyn - 13 Jan 2005 19:57 - 237 of 451

14 million shares today traded?????????????????????????????????????/

hlyeo98 - 14 Jan 2005 07:34 - 238 of 451

This will be heading north soon

llewellyn - 15 Jan 2005 00:43 - 239 of 451

i hope this stock is going to do something in the future has i have every thing on this company ?????????????????????????????????????????????/

optomistic - 15 Jan 2005 13:37 - 240 of 451

llewellyn, if you have placed everything on FTO you certainly have thrown caution to the wind. If this company were a baker it would have made many fortunes with all the pie in the sky and jam tomorrow. Perhaps the future will prove to be different but the past reveals it has been a poor long term investment. Money has been made in FTO with short term trading. For you holders I wish you luck, but this is one stock I would not offload a lot of cash into.

hlyeo98 - 16 Jan 2005 10:08 - 241 of 451

Times are different now with China becoming an ever-emerging economy...there is no doubt that FTO will be a real winner.

optomistic - 16 Jan 2005 10:15 - 242 of 451

hlyeo,
"there is no doubt that FTO will be a real winner."

No doubt?...... strong statement in this business!
However I do wish you luck and hope that I am proved wrong in my views.
opto

hlyeo98 - 16 Jan 2005 21:24 - 243 of 451

Don't worry...I am confident I will prove you wrong, Opto.

biffa18 - 17 Jan 2005 12:49 - 244 of 451

Opto
i think you are right about the past but things have changed somewhat as things have become much more stable in china and thats where the growth is , china needs power oil/gas etc etc ,and if fortune can grasp it right i think they have a good chance of making it or be bought out by a bigger company ,the only problem i see on the horizon is the amount of shares issued !!

biffa18 - 17 Jan 2005 15:57 - 245 of 451

little bit of volumne today very strange spread looks like they are trying to cover up whats buys/sells

llewellyn - 17 Jan 2005 17:09 - 246 of 451

lots of sells today????????????????????? does anybody know whats going on !!

biffa18 - 17 Jan 2005 17:50 - 247 of 451

according to level 2 most were buys as spread was vry tight most 8.80 trades and above were buys dont believe all what you see i bought 2day at 8.80
offer
8.80p to 375k.,

bid
8.79p to 500k..

as you can see that puts a different light on it ,

ukbambammatt - 19 Jan 2005 23:40 - 248 of 451

Well looks like we aer hanging on news still here. What appeared to be alot sells today and the price held firm?? THoughts anyone? I can only think this means there is a buyer still in play, other wise Im sure the bid would have dropped today. IMHO

Tristan - 24 Jan 2005 10:48 - 249 of 451

fair few large '?' trades gone through today. could be ticking back up to 9p again soon, can anyone confirm these?
