Morning Opto!

For a change today we have available for lunch:

Chinese steamed fish with ginger and lime
served with french beans and rice.

Beef Stroganoff also served with rice and wild mushies.

Chicken. orange and avacado salad.

Potato Gratin with stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes.

Pork sausages presented in Ye Ol'bangers and Mash style with onion gravy.

To follow:
Banana rum pudding

Strawberry shortbread with ice-cream

Coffee and walnut fudge gateaux.

Oh you do spoil us Bunny. Now today I really would like the Beef Stroganoff and mushrooms, should be nice and warming and then to follow the Banana rum pudding please.
Coffee and danish to put me on would be nice :-)

Well I haven't had time to sort a lunch out for a few days,
so especially as it's Friday so the end of the week I thought
I'd better sort something out today!

Well it's certainly still very damp and miserable outside today
we'll have some sun please Little Willie if you've got any to spare..

1.30 and it's lunchtime. Starving and ready for that strganoff :-)

Bunny...no sun to spare Bunny as, thank the Lord it's absolutely bucketing down
and has been all day and all last night.

Just the sort of stuff we love and need, really heavy ground drenching stuff, luvvly jubbly, should put some aqua back in the dams which are down to 42% which is dangerously low and considered drought conditions.

People are dancing about in it, not caring about getting soaked, it's a novelty!

Hope it stops for tommorrows big race day, it is forecast to but more rain to come on Sunday.

We were meant to play at nearby Pearl Valley today with UK friends but it was washed out; settled instead for a nice boozey lunch from whence we've recently
returned, 2 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc to the good.

Jessie...I see the GEM is money raising/dilution again, getting big now huh?!?
