Just out of interest I see an RNS today from Bioprogress stating Credit Agricole now have a 3.01% holding,Do they still hold SEO, and is this just coincidence or is there more to it? Any thoughts? Cheers.

garyble - 21 Dec 2006 15:38 - 23093 of 27111

Sylvia also been given the sack by the looks

We are writing to inform you that Sylvia Leavey no longer works for Stanelco plc. Please re-direct all future correspondance to the relevant departments listed below who will field your enquiry to the appropriate person who can assist

boldtrader - 21 Dec 2006 18:32 - 23096 of 27111

Well, if you have a negative head on things look somewhat grim ! really dont know what to make of it all, never mind. cheers.

dawall - 22 Dec 2006 01:28 - 23097 of 27111

Sylvia added nowt as far as SEO were concerned and if she has gone is simply another Clive Warner cost cut. She was basically the dogsbody shielding the other tossers from our straight no nonsense questions. If she has gone I wish her all the best for the future as she seems to have been caught in the crossfire. It would be good to know how many still work for SEO and in what roles. Do all he redundancies and no more R&D mean the next few months cashburn wil be signifcantly reduced or will Wagner and Warner have topped up their salaries?

garyble - 22 Dec 2006 08:40 - 23098 of 27111

IF formulations of Starpol 3000 are complete and FDA notification/approval made, then, as there is supposedly a market for Starpol, I'd agree that a halt on R&D for the short to medium term, in order to gain a foothold and generate significant revehue, moving the company into profit, would seem the most logical course of action.

bhunt1910 - 22 Dec 2006 08:52 - 23099 of 27111

I thought Sylvia did a difficult job pretty well and with professionalism and integrity. True, it was difficult to get information out of her at times - but part of her job was to protect the company and ensure that the information put out was consistent. The content and accuracy of the information which caused so many problems would not have been her responsibility (as she would simply have been told to issue the RNS's). Sylvia would almost certainly have had as as many sleepless nights as we did trying to manage the inadequacies of her booses.

I wish her well in whatever she chooses to do next

Tonight MW will be visited by 3 ghosts. The ghost of SEO past, the ghost of SEO present and the ghost of SEO yet to be.
The ghost of SEO past will show him visions of happy days. Of an SP hitting 30p, of excited investors and clients, of a smug and content board.
The ghost of SEO present will show him P45's, legal writs from other companies, badly drawn up contracts, large corporate investors unable to feed their families as SEO lose their wealth and a board that carry begging bowls and cardboard signs reading "wife, kids and patent to feed".
The ghost of SEO yet to be will show him a grave, mourned by no-one and with a epitaph reading "here lies SEO. They had a wonderful product, but no vision and skill to get it to market in a timely manner".
Let us hope that MW has a similar moment of epiphany to Ebeneezer Scrooge and can wake up with a vision and determination of how he will change the future so that we can all throw away our crutches and say;
Merry Christmas one and all.
(with apologies to Dickens).
Alan

Like it, Alan! I wonder if you have hit the date in seeking for an epiphany! Its jan 6th. Too soon by my reading: possibly March 6th, but here's hoping.

By the way, for any who would like a challenge, read my post on the ASC thread!

Merry Christmas to one and all (even *** and ****** *****)!

Alan - post 23101 a classic, loved it!! What will the New Years Resolutions for the board be I wonder? Lets not mention the words, lie, truth & honesty in any format.

How about, "All board members will wear there ties around their necks, rather than arse when addressing investors or releasing public information!".

qtheman - 28 Dec 2006 18:35 - 23108 of 27111

I would settle for their resolution to have one RNS stating a contract and for the first time in the history of SEO tell us what it is actually worth and when.

I think I need to crack open a bottle of wine for this dream to continue!

cynic - 28 Dec 2006 18:39 - 23109 of 27111

Thanks for the advice.

You want everyone to sell up?

OK. Following your advice, I am thinking of relying on it. I hold quite a few million shares. You are offering us all a wonderful '"win win" opportunity.

I trust you have the resources, or sufficient legal liability insurance, just in case your advice to the world at large, and any accepting SEO shareholders in particular, prove to be flawed or ill founded or just plain wrong.

For, should the SP increase at any point of my chosing over my original timescale of the next year or so, I will of course look to you for my missed profits from this point onwards.

Guys. This looks too good to be true!!

cynic - 29 Dec 2006 06:54 - 23111 of 27111

Tony ... if you still hold millions of shares in this clapped out piece of junk, then you need your head examining ..... if you were brilliant enough to buy a few weeks back when sp was 0.9, then you should also have been smart enough to take profits ..... racing certainty that you aren't and weren't.

for myself, i regret not having the balls to follow my own advice of shorting at 3p
