Results must be due very soon?

Ted1 - 06 Sep 2005 09:28 - 232 of 2037

Yep, early september. Any predictions?
Bit of an unknown, but if sales have been strong then I would like to think that this will surge.

AdieH - 06 Sep 2005 09:31 - 233 of 2037

Lets hope so, results have to be out by end of month, CEO would not commit to date (understand why) but underlying feeling that results will be good... : - )

sjtee - 19 Sep 2005 10:13 - 234 of 2037

Does anyone have any further news on when the results will be out?

Ted1 - 22 Sep 2005 11:11 - 235 of 2037

Results out early next week apparently. They must release them by the end of September anyway. A little positive buying this morning. Should pick up into next week. Any forecasts for the results anyone?

Ted1 - 22 Sep 2005 14:02 - 236 of 2037

Thinks warming up nicely. Could we hit the 2.5p broker forecast?

AdieH - 22 Sep 2005 14:19 - 237 of 2037

Results early next week, poster on ample says spoke to CEO who says early next week, if results good then who knows what the price will be but buying in anticipation of good results (me thinks). Might even have more news regarding new stores etc, previous RNS stated that COH might consider partners but only if they could bring something substantial to the table... Good Luck All.

richie1saunders - 25 Sep 2005 17:14 - 238 of 2037

Results tomorrow I'll wager - come on Mr W don't keep us in suspense any longer!

AdieH - 25 Sep 2005 17:39 - 239 of 2037

Yep think results will be out 7am, lets hope we get somewhere near the brokers estimate of 2p/2.5p... will be showing a nice profit if it does...

overgrowth - 26 Sep 2005 09:37 - 240 of 2037

Results are out guys:

Highlights

Net sales increase 80% to 3.8M against prior year same period. (Increase 50%
at constant exchange rates).

Number of stores trading at 31 March 2005 - 36 (2004 - 22). Currently 38 with a
further 15 under contract or with terms agreed.

Like-for-like sales growth 6% for 12 months to 31 March 2005.

Combined trading subsidiary EBITDA grew 251% to 0.35M for 12 months to 31
March 2005. (2004 - 0.10M at constant exchange rates).

Czech Republic market opened with 3 stores trading at 31 March 2005.

Acquisition of leading Latvian coffee bar chain with 7 stores initiated and
completed June 2005.

Significant progress made in moving coffeeheaven towards becoming a leading
branded coffee/sandwich bar chain in Central Europe.

Richard Worthington, Executive Chairman commented:

"With continued progress in Poland and the opening of two new markets during
the year, coffeeheaven remains on track to become a leading coffee bar brand
in Central Europe.

The current year has started well. Strong economic growth across much of Central
Europe, fuelled by European Union funding, is providing a powerful driver for
our business. We are pleased to have secured entry arrangements for two further
exciting new markets - Bulgaria and Romania."

The start of the Chairman's statement goes:

"The year under review has been a success. Growth in sales revenues and operating cash flows was strong and the Group reached a number of important milestones towards the achievement of its long-term objectives."

It looks as though COH have finally turned the corner into becoming a highly profitable company.

All looks good to me, a lot to get through but long term I think this is going to be big. Not set the market alight yet though!

dclinton - 26 Sep 2005 11:19 - 242 of 2037

Well, losses have widened since last year. All with good reason but I think they'll have to show real, rather than potential, profitability before the market really rewards them.

The expansion is great, though, and the potential is huge.

Onwards and upwards chaps, hope to see blue in my portfolio now, average purchase price of 1.40 for me... Good set of results...

stockdog - 26 Sep 2005 12:17 - 244 of 2037

Firstly, all credit to Richard Worthington for the detailed transparency of the report, especially such items as the UK directors' fees and other central overheads which so often drag a group's performance into the realms of disappointment..

This is a 5-year investment, not a quick trade. The reduction of risk emphasised throughout the report in terms of how they enter new markets with low capital needs and matched currency risks are the antithesis of quick burn spikey progress that most PI's seem to crave these days.

The rewards for this are a) minimal dilution of shareholder value by the otherwise need for constant large fund-raisings and b) a rock solid base capable of withstanding the volatile ride inherent in the new economies of middle Europe.

Do you believe that, in 5 years time, the SP will be 12.0p? If they continue to realise their carefully laid plans, it could well happen.

Chartwise, it's nice to see we've broken up through the recent stubborn resitance at 1.35. Let's hope we can hold above there for now. If so, we will likely move back towards a 1.40-1.60p trading range with 1.60p being the next milestone to beat on H1 results for 2005/06.

I think the management are steering the company and market expectation very cleverly. A good set of results overall - bodes very well for the future. Confident we will achieve Stockdog's 12p in the fullness of time, probably without many investors noticing!

richie1saunders - 27 Sep 2005 20:53 - 246 of 2037

Here we are then ..new store opening increase at 30 to 40% per year. In 7 years we have nearly 300 stores. 100 mil customers, say 10 mil profit, market cap 200 mil, share price 50p ish. Take bid launched at 65p per share...Getting carried away now...come on Mr W we know you can do it!!!

AdieH - 28 Sep 2005 08:28 - 247 of 2037

Be able to retire if we get to 50p...

dclinton - 28 Sep 2005 09:16 - 248 of 2037

More than 10% spread again. It's no wonder the price goes nowhere.

Anyone know if/when COH start trading SETSMM?

Doug

richie1saunders - 30 Sep 2005 20:50 - 249 of 2037

Further buy recommend from RHPS weekly update apparently.

AdieH - 01 Oct 2005 13:26 - 250 of 2037
