SUPERSCAPE - TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FUTURE. (SPS)

Happy1 - 03 Mar 2004 22:47

Superscape was founded nearly twenty years ago, and has been dedicated throughout its history to the development of ground-breaking software technology for the creation and delivery of innovative, high quality interactive 3D applications.
Over the years, Superscape has amassed unparalleled expertise and experience in the development of 3D software capable of working within the constraints of limited memory devices, slow processor speeds and strictly controlled file sizes.

Drawing on this knowledge, Superscape has established a world-leading position in the development of industry-standard 3D technology and applications for mobile devices. The company's Swerve technology has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine (Swerve Client), authoring tools (Swerve Studio) and a broad portfolio of 3D content, with particular emphasis on 3D games. Swerve is being adopted on a global basis by many of the mobile industry's leading players, together with world-renowned content and brand organisations.

Superscape has corporate headquarters in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA) with regional offices in Tokyo and Sydney. The company is quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPS).

Superscape (SPS) has received various tips in the press and by Analysts recently which will certainly give impetous to the share price. Indicators are looking good with the RSI rising off an oversold position and the MACD crossing showing BULLISH signs for the stock.

The mobile gaming market is still in it's infancy but the projected revenue is enormous. Mobile operators are looking at tapping the Gameboy market as they feel that users will not want to carry around a multitude of technology and if they have a mobile phone which can double as a gaming station than people will prefer this option.

People should also look at the recent contracts which SPS have signed for their technology. This is a technology company which could well be a great success in 2004.

I think the interims didn't have anything unexpected, hence the slight drop i.e. there was probably some expectation for more. We already knew what the results would say based on previous news. All in all SPS are heading in the right direction and the head north will continue once the 3G phone revenues start to come in (the coming months).

Its back to blue(still my favorite colour)It would appear that investors have decided to read past the line that said 3 million loss and digest thet numerous paragraphs of upbeat comment demonstrating massive potential that will start to come through in the second half of their year.

moneyman - 16 Oct 2004 00:41 - 236 of 707

Feckin ada this is going to blow.

joehargan1 - 16 Oct 2004 12:52 - 237 of 707

In 6 months time, we'll have seen a 2-4x multiple on this sp. The revenues are about to start rolling in and it seems only a relatively few investors have woken up to the potential. I really do think that we are the brink of something big here.

sandrew64 - 16 Oct 2004 19:34 - 238 of 707

I'm with you guys. Topped up a couple of months ago....probably should have bought more.

From the guys on iii:
Daily Express Saturday

An unlikely combination of vampires, alien invaders and tenpin bowling is poised to knock mobile games developer Superscape into profitability.
The AIM listed tiddler has won licences from film groups 20th Century Fox and Universal to create games on vampire flick Van Helsing and alien movie Independence Day.
The company has also won agreements to make a 3d tenpin bowling game endorsed by the worlds biggest bowling alley group, AMF Bowling.
SPS CEO KR said the group was positioned to start generating revenues from royalties, rateher than by licensing its patented technology to mobile phone handset providers.
" We have agreements with nine of the worlds top ten mobile phone network providers including Verizon, Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 " . " We should move into the black during the second half of 2005 "

The company saw turnover rise to 1.1 million for H1 and losses narrowed to 3 Million. Shares closed up 4.5p to 49.5p.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/story/0,3604,1328845,00.html

"Superscape, which designs 3D graphics and games for mobile phones, rose 4.5p to 49.5p as half-year figures impressed the City. Next week Superscape will embark on a post-results roadshow, visiting a dozen or so institutions. If the meetings go well, traders reckon Superscape shares might hit 70p. "

skids - 18 Oct 2004 12:55 - 242 of 707

steady rise so far, and looks set to rise again in the next 30mins. 55/56 could be possible today.

hlyeo98 - 18 Oct 2004 14:05 - 243 of 707

70p on the way

joehargan1 - 18 Oct 2004 15:46 - 244 of 707

Agree but nice and steady rise is what we need. Fasten your seat-belts!

skids - 18 Oct 2004 16:05 - 245 of 707

150'000 trade (looks like a buy - can anyone confirm) gone through.

joehargan1 - 18 Oct 2004 16:19 - 246 of 707

So here's a classic found in today's market updates as a follow up to Friday's interim announcement...

"SPS commented that with revenues up tenfold in the period (September/October), prospects for the second half were 'encouraging'".

Up by 10x and we're still not into the Christmas period, I'm certainly encouraged...anyone else?

skids - 18 Oct 2004 16:22 - 247 of 707

me too. And the new phones are just about to go into the shops! I imagine its going to be a very steep curve soon.

hlyeo98 - 18 Oct 2004 22:10 - 248 of 707

We will be celebrating at X'mas. It will be curving upwards now

ehall - 19 Oct 2004 08:23 - 249 of 707

Up again at the open today, more presentations, more buys I guess!

aevansdj - 19 Oct 2004 12:06 - 250 of 707

In the Daily Express today, it's reported that Evolution Securities have put an 80p a share value on the company.
