Speaking of memories, seems quiet, I was hoping to get some advice from the collective wisdom here. With all the new trading toys I now have, exactly how many margin calls do you need to win a prize??

Humorous part was having the stop which took me out logged at the same time...to the second,

STORMCALLER - 28 Jan 2005 23:12 - 23122 of 23498

Fundy,

Rest assured I never had that much in the accounts, having just started the margin game have deliberately under-funded to avoid beginners over-exuberance

STORMCALLER - 28 Jan 2005 23:13 - 23123 of 23498

Opened S/B account specifically to play FX, something I have wanted to do for a while, but didn't know how, it's mainly thanks to the folks on the board I found out how to go about it, so much help!
Also play Dow, tried FTSE but fell asleep waiting for it to DO SOMETHING

jeffmack - 28 Jan 2005 23:19 - 23130 of 23498

That tea obviously went down well, I'll put the kettle on again.

If I can buy a washing machine at any time during the 24 hours, why can't I trade shares too?
