i am afraid SOLA will not look nearly so pretty on Monday .... down 11.3% in NY so i guess that will equate to an opening of about 270 or even a little lower

Nearly reached the 270 mark. Difficult to decide if this is really the start of the up trend, but with 330p as a target, even at 270 there is possibly some money to be made.

SOLA is going to shoot upwards next week...great news.

justyi has been proven well wrong, but the stock has yet to prove itself made of straw, or some such metaphor ..... there was recent intraday high of 345, but once again, starting to struggle to stay above 300 ...... one thing is for sure; when sp starts moving, it does so in lumps!

Another nice pick up today in an uninspiring market.

ReneSola Signs Six-Year Wafer Supply Agreements with Ningbo Solar and Eoplly
New Energy

JIASHAN, China, April 15 -- ReneSola Ltd ('ReneSola' or the 'Company'), a
leading Chinese manufacturer of solar wafers, today announced that it has
signed six-year wafer supply contracts with Ningbo Solar Electric Power Co.,
Ltd. ('Ningbo Solar') and Eoplly New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ('Eoplly').

Under the terms of the Ningbo Solar contract, ReneSola will supply Ningbo Solar
with 105 MW of solar wafers over a six-year period commencing in mid-2008.
Ningbo Solar is a Chinese manufacturer of solar cells and modules headquartered
in Zhejiang Province, China.

ReneSola has also agreed to supply Eoplly with 105 MW of solar wafers over a
six-year period commencing in mid-2008. Headquartered in Jiangsu Province,
China, Eoplly is a Chinese manufacturer of solar cells, solar modules and
photovoltaic (PV) systems.

'The signing of these wafer supply contracts further demonstrates continuing
strong demand for our quality wafer products,' commented Mr. Xianshou Li,
ReneSola's chief executive officer. 'Our large-scale, cost-effective
manufacturing and strong technology development capabilities are well
recognized within the industry and we are very pleased to broaden our customer
base with these latest wafer supply agreements.'

Excellent news---very glad I dipped back in down in the 2s! We could be in for a repeat performance of last year until the shorters arrive back!!

This pretty much mirrors what is happening with SOL:US.
"ReneSola Ltd. American depositary receipts (SOL US) gained 15 percent to a record $14.96. The world's largest recycler of scrap wafers used in solar panels said it signed contracts to supply wafers to two Chinese solar companies."
Personally I can see the sp increasing until the market decides that the company is overvalued, when the inevitable downward spiral will start.
I am happy to hold but will be getting nervous around the 450 level.

Further great gains. I'm considering taking some money off the table, 100% rise in a month not a bad return. Having said that, think we could run to 450p first....
