Well, what do you think of the decor? We've had the Home Front people in to bring just a hint of that ADVFN ambience - doesn't it make you feel at home? I suppose I'd better get The Management to have a look and make sure I'm not doing anything I shouldn't, like pretending to be ADVFN or nicking their intellectual property or something. If all goes well, those links at the top will actually work (provided you have an ADVFN account, of course).
GoldDog started all this fancy text and graphics nonsense, followed by Jeff and I suspect one or two others who pretended not to be very interested. Obviously some people do not feel that their rhetoric is adequately riveting and their posts are in need of some additional sparkle. Meaning to be helpful I offered a tip on the Shares Cafe thread which led to GoldDog getting more than a little carried away! Others, suitably impressed, sought assistance in imitating this visual wizardry and the Cafe quickly became a testing ground for HTML posts. Those frequenting the Cafe in search of discourse and relaxation now found their smokey snug turning into a disco-type light show full of show-offs, so I thought I'd better move it all over here. While you're here you still have one click access to any area of ADVFN and, of course, to the Cafe, if only GoldDog would stop moving the thread - try here to pick one up.
