Bioprogress (BPRG)

scorpion - 13 Aug 2003 13:54

Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Hi Al...nothing has to do well although I have a feeling BPRG will!!! Talking of shares which are doing well. Do you still hold AIMR?

Big Al - 20 Jun 2007 16:26 - 2336 of 2372

Blimey - AIMR? Can't even remember when I held them.

Just looked at chart. Wish I still had them ;-)) Luckily I'm having a good week with CPH and a good month of two with RDSB and HAMP - bottom fished oerfectly for a change. LOL

Best of luck with your BPRG.

Dynamite - 20 Jun 2007 16:49 - 2337 of 2372

Al...I'm glad you are doing well with your shares....I remember you saying you bought AIMR as a 'do or die share' around the time I bought them....you would have doubled your money if you had kept them...never mind hopefully other shares have been as good to you.
I buy everything on 'gut feel' and it seems to be a do or die portfolio where most live, a few have 9 lives and the odd one dies...it works for me big time but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else!!!
Di

Dyamite, are you teasing BA.

Watch BPRG for after the bell B/S for a few days.

Might be interesting.

Dynamite - 20 Jun 2007 17:06 - 2339 of 2372

me tease?? Never

Big Al - 21 Jun 2007 07:39 - 2340 of 2372

;-))

Fred - I have met the lovely Di.

Fred1new - 21 Jun 2007 09:36 - 2341 of 2372

BA, Pure luck again.

This company was mocked early on by many on SEO thread.

Although I hold some SEO I think that this company due for a breakout of its present sideways trading with a support level of 55p-

There has been a number of positive news over the last few months, but DYOH

Big Al - 22 Aug 2007 16:24 - 2344 of 2372

A steady rise instead of its now customary steady drop must be music to the ears of many. ;-0

scottinvestor - 22 Aug 2007 16:27 - 2345 of 2372

i'm past caring!!!!!

Fred1new - 22 Aug 2007 20:50 - 2346 of 2372

Big Al, I could tolerate a big rise.

At my age i would be lucky to get one or remember it!

Fred1new - 31 Oct 2007 18:00 - 2347 of 2372

In that it is good news, posted twice.

Up 11% today. Why?

Fred1new - 03 Nov 2007 10:21 - 2348 of 2372

Meldex up over 35% in four days.
Minor board change and rumours of licensing deals.
I have held this company as BPRG on and off since 2004 and I am still slightly out of pocket.

Thought its processing techniques had a tremendous potential for drug therapy applications as well as in other fields where differential release of chemicals may be advantageous.

It has recently negotiated approximately 6million bank facility rather than dilution by share placement.

This was prior to rumour release of talks of licensing deals.

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=MDX&Si

I think (hope) this company has at last come good.

As I was getting fed up with dead money.

Worth a serious look, but DYOH.

Fred1new - 26 Nov 2007 10:46 - 2349 of 2372

Isn't this doing well. Has a lot further to run.

Now known as MDX.

maggiebt4 - 26 Nov 2007 14:58 - 2350 of 2372

Does anyone know why I've looked but can find nothing Not complaining mind!

Fred1new - 26 Nov 2007 15:13 - 2351 of 2372

What are you looking for?

I am 5 ft 2ins and 18 st.

Any good?

BPRG is now known as MELDEX (MDX).

Numerous deals, contracts and licences under its belt in recent months.

Seems to have got its act together after years of false dawns.

I have held between 100-200K shares on and off for a lifetime. Worth serious consideration for a SIPP as it is AIM or longterm hold, but DYOH.

Toya - 26 Nov 2007 15:44 - 2352 of 2372

Maggie, there was an RNS on 13 September 2007 re name change:

Company will be giving the following update today following the Company's
Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM') to seek shareholder approval to change the
name of the Group from BioProgress Plc to Meldex International Plc.

[etc etc]

ssanebs - 26 Nov 2007 17:28 - 2353 of 2372

some major shareholdings in the last few weeks, another today.

Big Al - 26 Nov 2007 17:42 - 2354 of 2372

This lot any good?
