"this will be a totally different company in 12 months" - as the Chinese say, be careful what you wish for!

Lack of the usual die hard posters recently says it all really. Belief that the fund-raising and expulsion of two senior managers would lead shortly to confirmed orders and revenue has been pretty much extinguished. Total lack of news is beginning to look bad. Everyone's too depressed to look at this one much now.

We've most of us got too little to be worth selling at this price, I imagine, although I have a rather pathetic stop loss of 1p in mind.

This could still be a 5-10 bagger in our life time, but is fast becoming cold potatoes from where it is unlikely to be capable of resuscitation. I guess a further period of mourning is required before I can quite bear to bury this one, but I'm getting very close.

Stockdog,

Don't give up yet - as I have said - I believe something is coming quite soon, a little longer won't hurt you - if you sell and then it happens - you will not be a happy bunny!!

garyble - 25 Jan 2007 21:03 - 23365 of 27111

Ah well, we've been saying it for almost two years, so I suppose another year or two can't hurt....eh?!

If I want out of season stuff or convenience fruit/veg I goto a supermarket... and buy a sealed packet, that has;nt been sniffed, licked or otherwise infected by the local populus.

LOL! How many times has your 'packaged' salad already been fingered by an army of workers.

hewittalan6 - 25 Jan 2007 21:38 - 23367 of 27111

SD,
If by die hard posters you mean those I think, you will find something of a gentlemans agreement along the lines of "when theres nowt to say, say nowt".
Thoughts and possibilities have been roundly attacked, so many are keeping mum, but Pinnacle is very definitely worth reading.

SD, I too think that we ought to give this bunch just a few more months breathing space - even more if you don't need the t/y/e CGT losses - since the institutional stake underpinning it may make the downside quite minimal, and the products do look like they do have potential for when people actually go green instead of liking to have people think they have gone green.

kimoldfield - 25 Jan 2007 23:11 - 23369 of 27111

I will break my silence only to say that Alan is right, there is nowt to say at this time! Patience is a virtue, it doesn't guarantee total success but it is a very handy attribute at present.

I'll second that K O !!!

Iankn73 - 25 Jan 2007 23:43 - 23371 of 27111

Guys,

All this ambiguity is killing me! kim, you state that Alan is right e.g. there is nowt to say at this time and yet Alan states that Pinnacles post is "very definately worth reading" and pinnacles words were "I believe something is coming quite soon," etc.... HELP!!

I have only started trading over the last six month or so and although STANELCO have flattered to deceive investors over the years I still genuinely believe that their products have serious potential in todays markets.

In other words I'm a novice and already have a stake in this stock and may top up. I just need some guidance from you seasoned veterans.

Advice pos or neg welcome,

As long as they are not from tattieheid as he/she will just ramp ERX! LOL

thanks

Iankn73

kimoldfield - 26 Jan 2007 00:02 - 23372 of 27111

Ambiguity is the main theme with Stanelco Iankn73! I cannot give you guidance on this one, I will just say that I have maintained a fairly small holding, 400k, since the fund raising and will be hanging on grimly until the company deign to oblige us with a bit of news, be it good (probably) or bad (possibly), until then I will continue to dream of the day when MacDonald's will present me with a beautiful biodegradable box containing one of their burgers or a supermarket will let me purchase a nicely wrapped salad or greensealed ready meal! Good luck with your investment, if certain institutions are still happy with it then perhaps we should be too.

You have to be green to still hold these shares .

boldtrader - 26 Jan 2007 09:22 - 23374 of 27111

iankn73,I suggest you sit down infront of your screen for a couple of hours and trawl through all the rns newswire reports from 2001 to date on SEO.That will give you a pretty good insight into the time it has taken the Company to arrive at its present situation. Patience is infact a virtue and dogmatic stubborness has to be as well with regard to Stanelco! good luck to all holders.Cheers.

stockdog - 26 Jan 2007 10:25 - 23375 of 27111

pinnacle - dogs are NEVER happy bunnies - lol

Alan - how did you guess?

Iankn73 - my advice (which I don't often give, because I know notheing either) is to stick to companies already making a profit that can be extrpolated into the future - there's lots of them out there, all firing away at present. That's where I'm concentrating having only started a couple of years ago with all the usual exciting speculative stocks (like SEO)

kim - just happy tht the burger's biodegradable!

Thanks for the posts guys, cheered me up to hear you all. Maybe missing you was what was getting me down, rather than lack of SEO news. I said MAYBE!

Just got in,

Stockdog,

I honestly feel something good is about to happen - and I more than most have a great deal to lose if this does not work out!

I think you know people who can put you in touch with me if you wish - I can then keep you in touch with anything I think will keep you a HAppy Bunny!!

Stay positive - I am, and that certainly makes a change!!

Iankn73 - 26 Jan 2007 19:54 - 23377 of 27111

I appreciate the comments of those who had the decency to reply to a novice investor!

Have a good weekend peeps and hang in there I'm sure it will bear fruit in the end.... whenever that could be.

explosive - 26 Jan 2007 20:41 - 23378 of 27111

Just awoken from hibination, nothing new here that we didn't know before Santa came. Anyway all the best to those holding, this share reminds me of Apple v's Microsoft so maybe in 20 years time I'll be laughing when digital burger papers and quick decompose has been invented. Until then!!

kimoldfield - 27 Jan 2007 18:49 - 23379 of 27111

SEO website has updated info on FrogPack I see; one small hop for packaging one giant hop for Stanelco and all that. Biodegradable Airbags still remain a mystery however. Ho hum.
