Just got in,
Stockdog,
I honestly feel something good is about to happen - and I more than most have a great deal to lose if this does not work out!
I think you know people who can put you in touch with me if you wish - I can then keep you in touch with anything I think will keep you a HAppy Bunny!!
Stay positive - I am, and that certainly makes a change!!

I appreciate the comments of those who had the decency to reply to a novice investor!
Have a good weekend peeps and hang in there I'm sure it will bear fruit in the end.... whenever that could be.

Just awoken from hibination, nothing new here that we didn't know before Santa came. Anyway all the best to those holding, this share reminds me of Apple v's Microsoft so maybe in 20 years time I'll be laughing when digital burger papers and quick decompose has been invented. Until then!!

SEO website has updated info on FrogPack I see; one small hop for packaging one giant hop for Stanelco and all that. Biodegradable Airbags still remain a mystery however. Ho hum.

Could someone please explain what this means? I'm assuming its in relation to zscrooge's earlier comment?

Ian-yes it's to do with the earlier comment from misery zscrooge! You soon get to sort out the genuine posters on the bbs but at the end of the day all want to make money!! they will either ramp or bash and you need to do your own research so that when a company you have picked is rubbished and falls back--you have the confidence to hold on rather than panic and lose money by selling. A good example is SOLA a brilliant company which has been pulled back several times by shorters and then gone on to new highs. Its possible that you can sell and buy back profitably like cynic but it's not easy to pick your timing correctly so I like to hold and take a profit when I'm happy. I mainly lose money when I get bored with a share and sell---just to watch it shoot away-Climate Exchange is one like that!!
Good luck in your investments for 2007. I can also recommend Lemming Investor .com, I have made my 60 annual fee back many times over this year.
cheers MP.

money+ .... if i may just comment fairly briefly on SOLA ..... SOLA is something of an oddity ..... many or even most newcos get off to a flying start and then falter .... by and large, SOLA's sp has gone from strength to strength ..... for myself, if i fam holding stock at the time and feel the price has gone far enough, at least for the time being, i'll take a profit, always with a view of buying back later, ideally at a lower price ...... on a couple of occasions, i have bought back at a higher price, but still made a profit ..... never forget that a profit is no profit until it's banked ..... like most of us, i have on occasion allowed greed to get the better of me and failed to act prudently.
while SOLA would certainly look to have a rosy future, the graveyard is littered with companies (and their investors) that have failed to live up to expectations and anticipations ..... thus, should SOLA disappoint at any time, be prepared for massive fallout.

I would absolutely agree with you cynic-I was very relieved to have sold most of my NLR before the recent plummet, not so lucky with prty and sbt though!! I tried once to take profit on a small amount of sola only to see it bounce up again very quickly so trying to hop on and off cost me that time!! I'm just not very good at it.
I know you use charts and they are a good indicator but buy and hold is best for me and of course not being too greedy! I am sticking with sola as I'd like to qualify for cgt relief-fingers crossed they don't disappoint.
