THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Diddles,

I seem to remember the lifestyles of Mellor, Cecil Parkinson, Major and Edwina were broader than many supposed, but I suppose living up to good old tory standards, of what doesn't get in the papers doesn't matter. (We will get the stories suppressed.)

When you throw bricks around remember that some can rebound, and of course as you are a consenting adult, (which I suppose to be so) you can pick and choose your partners as you see fit.

I think Ian must have the patience of a saint, but sadly it could be to his cost if he loses business in the process. You seem to have the uncanny knack of totally alienating posters on various bulletin boards gf. I've seen it going on for more than ten years now, why don't you just chill out.

doodlebug4 - 10 Apr 2013 22:04 - 23410 of 81564

Fred, yes that is true, they were all at it. However I do think that Prescott was a boorish thug as well!

goldfinger - 10 Apr 2013 22:05 - 23411 of 81564

Well you didnt answer are you just doing this as you fancy me.

doodlebug4 - 10 Apr 2013 22:20 - 23415 of 81564

You can call me whatever you like gf, as I've said before you keep following the same obsessive pattern until you succeed in totally destroying threads on bulletin boards. Chill out mate, life is too short, don't waste your valuable time trying to stir it up 24/7.

Fred1new - 10 Apr 2013 22:20 - 23416 of 81564

doodle,

That is what I thought of Maggie with her bag, especially her high pitched scream!

She appeared to be the nanny, matron, or perhaps mother, that some in the con party were missing.

Mrs Margaret Thatcher was a an extraordinary person whose influence was paramount into bringing the eastern block into the modern world (one should not forget President Ronald Reagan's help in this matter)(along with some of the Eastern leaders), she will not be forgotten even though things were not perfect but how can they be if you lead a Country such as ours ?,... but work was encouraged during her terms in office. She is sorely missed now with a North Korean crisis, with that Nation lacking indentity and her influence would have been enormous and she would have found a solution to this crisis I'm sure : One of the greatest leaders of all time and who was very respected throughout Europe and the rest of the World. She has my greatest respect and my condolences to her Family.

goldfinger, I'm sorry you haven't had any success with the opposite sex, you know, the females of the species, but you wishing I was gay isn't the answer :-)

goldfinger - 10 Apr 2013 22:32 - 23423 of 81564

Fred no chance ............... Im enjoying my self too much

doodlebug4 - 10 Apr 2013 22:37 - 23424 of 81564

Good post, required field. She was probably respected more throughout Europe and the rest of the World than she was in this country. The mining community to this day just cannot accept the fact that the cuts were a necessary evil because the coal mining business was seriously losing money. Scargill was an egotist and he thought that every single coal mine should be kept running until the last piece of coal was extracted - it didn't matter how much money the business was losing. A lot of people seem to be incapable of putting their political ideals aside in order to assess the cold, hard facts of running businesses.
